Yaz has to build a tank to justify his high selection.
By the looks of the photos he was the first to pull out. Lets hope that is not the case come March.

Hopefully there were no dogs nearby when they took the snap or we are in big trouble.

My greatest hope for next season is that we get Tex up and running.

Would love to see a top 5 B&F finish.

Yes I know he's young, but Yaz was pick #6 not 10, 15,20 or 30.
He has tasted the intensity of Senior footy at AFL level.
He has been given plenty of chances to get accustomed to the role as a senior player.
He will also have a full on preseason under his belt this summer.

I have high expectations from this player who was born with silky footy skills and footy smarts.
Now he has to build his engine and his strength...and put his head over the footy.

Walker has the engine but just can't improve his skills by foot.
Yarran has th skills and can develop a great engine if he has the mental strength to do so.

There's plenty of pressure on spots in the first 22, and I hazard a guess to suggest that those not in the first 22 will be one of a dozen vying to break into the team in 2011.

Pressure on both of these guys in 2011 AFAIC.

Play Walker in the forward line, like I said well over a year ago and he'll have a stellar season. He was monumental when he came back from injury in '09 or '08 (cannot recall) and created pressure up front and snagged a few goals. He is a good kick for goal and snaps very well. He will make an excellent small forward if left there permanently.

WTSOAPM you were not the only one who has been moaning about Walker not playing forward. And not only as a small, because we all know he can mark. For some reason his biggest liability being his kicking straigtens up when going for goal. Totally opposite to just about every other player in the league. If his shoulder is genuinely okay he would add the forward pressure we need imo to help take the next step.

Everyone talks about Kreuzer up forward but I reckon Walker as a medium forward to complement the smalls/talls is just as vital to the structure particularly long term.

Ratts has already said he'll be tried through the midfield next season.

Didn't we get Collins for that role?
Isn't the classy Houlihan the best we've got for that role?
Isn't Judd going to play forward more in 2011?

HF: Garlett Henderson Waite
F: Betts Kreuzer Walker

SUB: Yarran Collins Houlihan Warnock Gibbs Judd Murphy

EMERG: Setanta Hampson White Carrazzo Robinson

SMOKEY: Anthony and pick 18

GEEZ the forwardline looks scary for the opposition in 2011.

FWD LINE DEPTH: we're better off in 2011 than we were with Fev at FF
