I'm expecting continued improvement.

Whilst some would say that we won 2 less games in 2010, I would suggest that the comp became more even in 2010, and I did see improvement in the Carlton Kids.

Top 4 spot (and naturally a surprise flag ala Hawks 08)
Judd, Gibbs, Murphy in the guts.
1 'in and under' player to perform consistently well
Austin to make CHB his own
Tuohy to make the senior 22 as an attacking HB
Lucas & Walker to add to the midfield group, as well as rotating the 3 amigos through the midfield too.
Kreuzer to play KP forward and all 4 ruckmen retained. Warnock to step up another level again.
Improvement in game plan with lots more emphasis player leadership on decision making including rotations.
Huge preseason to all players on the list with a desire and belief to succeed.
One BIG name KP recruited would be icing on the cake

I would like to seenew recruits come in who are bigger and can kick......

Seriously we have to be one of the smallest and innaficcient sides in the comp. I would love to see that change.

Considering our senior list is just about right barring injuries and one KPP (CHB), fill the vacant assistant coaches positions with the best. As Dick Pratt said, not the best available, the best. Our youngsters need these guys to have them take the next step.

Look at that show pony Daisy Thomas yesterday. Played in his correct role as an outside player and behind the ball. Never thought I would say it but great game. The filths youngsters have developed faster than ours. Why? Better development and game structure.

Stop mucking around and appointing favourites. Get the BEST!

What about Hendo? He'll get his chance if he's good enough. Still got a way to go yet. Luckily he's young and we can develop him.

I'll repeat myself - Hendo will get his chance if he's good enough - he's a young fella and he'll play a part.

But if we had a goal to goal line of Jammo/Setanta/Judd/Waite/Kreuzer we'd be pretty solid and experienced. Play an attacking brand of footy and that would be a very handy group of athletes.

I don't think Kruezer is a FF. I think he can and should go to the full forward line in the old 'pocket' role for periods in the match but I think he will be at his best on the ball. I'd even have him in there as a Goodes-like midfielder. He could even end up being our hard midfielder!
I'd ideally like to see Kruezer, Warnock and Hampson rotating through the ruck, interchange and forward. With Kruezer sometimes lining up in the middle with Warnock in the ruck.
Imagine the possibilities! Warnock taps it UP to Kruezer who, much taller than his midfield opponent, taps it cleanly to Judd bursting through the centre square towards goal! And K would be just as solid on the ground. Too big for a small guy and too quick for a big guy.

I like this post except for the opening sentence.

Is he not a FF, or is it impossible for him to play the FF role or FP role or wha?

People really understimate this kid...really do.

I love the idea of Warnock taps it to Kreuzer taps it to Judd and he's off............GOAL!!!!!

Options That's what Kreuzer gives us.

What's best for the team should be the most important thing to consider...this is not an invidual thing... although Collingwood's Swan think it is.
