I don't think he was our worst against Collingwood.
The open space at Subi might not suit his pace issue, however not playing the Richmond game was a disgrace by the club. Even the Tigers played that Irish kid and didn't play McGuane and Thursfield. Been through the worst period in the club history and with the knee recos and taking the LARS which didn't suit him it's a real shame not to get on the locker.
Hope he has a blinder in the Ants

Not playing Fisher would be a dog act.Symbolism in a footy club is SO important. You reward players. It sends a message to players that you are a person and do count.Loyal servants SHALL be rewarded. It is a footy club. Its not a business even though its run in a business like manner.

Fisher has had plenty of opportunity to play 100 games at Carlton. We are in finals mode so if you don't earn a spot on merit then bad luck.

As harsh as it sounds, I have to agree with this. We're a club preparing for finals, and giving games to those who earn them. We can't afford to be giving out games based on sentimental value and charity this close to the finals. If he earns his place, by all means, play him. If he doesn't, then tough luck. Part of making the 100 games a special achievement is earning it. If Fish can't earn it, then he doesn't get it.

Best of luck to him though, wish him all the best.

The only reason to give Fisher 1 more game is if he has a kid to pick up under f/s

I know he has a kid, but my questions are

1) Is it even a son ???
2) How is he doing in the junior leagues ???

Given Fisher's age and if it is a son, he'd be playing in the U5's

Fisher is 26 and does NOT have any children yet.

Yep....you can play ''nice guy'' when you're not going to be playing finals; and it's your last game till next year.
