Depending on other results this is a great game to give Judd, Murphy, Betts, Simmo, Gibbs, Waite, Russell, Jamo and Henderson a rest

Let's give Fisher his 100th, Carlos a send off, Anderson a send off, CJ a send off and whoever else will be delisted. Simple instructions to go out with a bang!

Good idea to rest all our blokes but also a home final is so important.

If Sandilands doesn't play Freeo go from dominating the stoppages and causing us height headaches up forward to being smashed in the rucks. I think Warnock will be up for this one. I am an unabashed Setanta fan, and at the risk of upsetting those north of the border I'd bring him in as a third tall forward - more effective than the resting rucks, and also as a possible down back seeing we were monstered by Pods last night.

I wouldn't be rushing AJ back. He has looked very much rookie list quality this year and should have been dropped after the Essendon* game for yet another off ball / dead ball piece of stupidity that cost a shot on goal. He has done this about 5 times this year but the coach - tough with Walks and TBird - continues to tolerate it. And I thought, despite the goals to Ablett Carrazzo, did a good tagging job, particularly when Ablett was midfield. And the Dockers have no-one near Abletts class in the midfield. Ellard can be a midfield tagger too. I doubt that Subi suits slow midfielders, so I don't reckon I'd be going in with Hadley and Grigg, but maybe we will. Grigg wasn't great last night but is establishing himself. I'd drop Jacobs and Davies and bring in Hammer and Setanta. And I'd consider Yarran for Hadley on the wide open spaces of Subi.

We should win this one, the wheels have fallen off the Dockers. BArlow has been their best - he is out. Sandilands is one of the most dominant players in the League, he won't be back. Tarrant is their best tall defender - gawn. And that annoying liitle forward is injured as well. Hopefully Pavs soreness continues. I'd try Bower on him if Pav is midfield. Maybe Bower could find his mojo near the middle rather than deep in defence.

Sandi was apparently set to go this week. Anyway if he plays it'll be his first game back in weeks and with a bit of luck he'll be rusty.

Do we keep Jacobs in or swap him for Hammer if fit?

He asked a W.A based carlton supporter wheres the best place to watch the game.................. His answer : "The Pub!"

Our Finals Campaign really starts next week. As predicted, Freo has been smashed by +100 which means that now, we have a better Percentage.

The Equation is Simple. Win next week and we will secure a home final most likely against Freo Again. Lose, and we will most likely Travel again to play Freo.

Makes next week a must Win for us. Not beyond us but it will be a difficult task...

Yes, thanks to the forfeit today, percentage is out fo the equation. Freo....flower.

The other option is we put the queue in the rack next week, rest a few and go in against Freo in two weeks well rested. Nah.

Geez this mob are crap....should be a big win for us next week but if Sydney win their two and the Dawks somehow get over the filth it won't matter...we really need the dogs to beat Sydney....

It was evident last night that we lacked a third tall defender.

Surely Thornton (played well again today for the Bullants) must come in for Davies. He gives us the flexibility to play many more positions and would help Bower and Jamo who are struggling at the monent. He usually takes Pavlich anyway.

Must keep Jacobs in ahead of Hampson and I would assume that Joseph needs to come back in as well.

For me Anderson should play ahead of Walker as Walker is not and will never be a defender. His not strong enough in the air and his kicking is terrible.

Do Ellard & Hadley both stay in or do we go for another runner on the big ground at Subi in Yarran?

Ellard is the Subi specialist. hadley was injured last night apparently. You'd think Yarran would play at Subi, I wonder if Ratts was saving him for another week just for that reason.

- MAYBE bring in Thornton for Davies.
- I would definitely bring in Hampson if he is fit.
- Walker should stay in. He can play back and cut a swathe through the middle, especially at Subi. But I would prefer him to spend more time in the middle.
- I would also bring in Yarran. Not sure who to drop...
- Re AJ, wouldn't be rushing to bring him back although I'm not as critical of him as some others.

..if we play like we did last night, i reckon that's good enough to beat freo even at subi.. ..resting their players and gettin' smashed by the dawks is gonna haunt them.. ..moren half that side was playin', and will be playin' next week..

Results say we need to win next week. Sydney in Sydney isn't ideal.
