As someone said Waite has been walking a fine line all season, having escaped narrowly against the Saints and in the first game against Richmond too. It was a pretty tough hit this week, certainly reportable and I guess 2 weeks is about right, although Motlop did a similar hit on Simpson (?) yesterday, just not head-high but eyes nowhere near the ball.

I hope that will be the last of the low acts from Waitey.

In case you didn't know, Mark Fraser (ex-essendon player and still passionate Essendon* supporter) is the chairman of the match review panel. I went and saw him as a physio a year or so ago (hopeless, too, by the way), and he explained he follows the bombers closely and is just as passionate about them at the time as he was growing up.
