Nobody will ever forget that loss to Essendon*.

Anyone who does is [REDACTED].

Silly [REDACTED] up theories which try to gloss over the loss to Essendon* are just [REDACTED].

I feel like dancing.

Round 5, Carlton defeat Geelong by 36 points, 15.14.104 - 9.14.68

Verdict: Geelong are tired and have a premiership hangover. If Scarlett played Blues would have lost. Carlton caught Cats after a big win and their desire was down, Blues got lucky.

Consider this:

Round 1, Carlton defeat Richmond by 56 points, 18.12.120 - 9.10.64

Verdict: Richmond are hopeless, we should have beaten them by 100, it's all Ratten's fault, you can't judge anything by the result.

Round 2, Western Bulldogs 17.18 (120) d. Richmond 7.6 (48)

Verdict: Western Bulldogs are a true top 4 team, and show it by thrashing Richmond

Round 4, Carlton 16.7 (103) d. Adelaide Crows 6.19 (55), at AAMI Stadium, after playing some horrible footy for a bit over a quarter, from half time until part way through the last.

Verdict: Adelaide are shot this year, the result proves nothing, we only won because the Crows couldn't kick

Round 5, Western Bulldogs 18.13 (121) d Adelaide 10.12 (72)

Verdict: This proves that the Bulldogs are a force this year, and last week's defeat was an aberration.

Funny thing peoples' perspective, isn't it?

Yes it is funny...apart from the Cats we have beaten the bottom two teams and have been hammered by our two most hated rivals....you can twist perspective any which way you like it seems...

Our three losses are to three of last year's finalists.

Stick that up ya clacker!

Round 6, Collingwood defeat Carlton by 53 points, 24.11.155 - 16.6.102

Verdict: Carlton were tired after last week's big win over the best team in the comp over the last 10 years. They are a young side and inconsistency is to be expected. Collingwood caught the Blues on a good day.

How'd I do this week?

Round 7, Carlton defeat St Kilda by 61 points, 20.9.129 - 9.14.68

Verdict: St Kilda had all of their best players out, even Richmond would have given St Kilda a run tonight. Plus the game was on a Monday and you can't expect the Saints to play well after a 10 day break.

Wait for this from the media:

BLUES EXPOSED AS PREMIERSHIP PRETENDERS

Might see it if we lose to Port or are unconvincing. I have noticed a trend the media make our expectations greater than reality, even though most people thought we wouldn't make the 8, they will suddenly pretend we were flag favourites this year.

Other scenarios:

1) Carlton win a flag

Response: BLUES TO STRUGGLE TO CREATE GEELONG DYNASTY

2) Carlton win 5 flags in a row

Response: BLUES GET LUCKY IN POOR ERA

3) Carlton win 10 flags in a row

Response: BLUES PRETENDERS TO GREATEST SPORTING ORGANISATION OF ALL TIME THRONE
