The story is not funny. The prank is funny. The Hun have written it in such a way as to try to make it look bad, that’s why they printed it on page 3. They generally don’t print ‘funny’ stories on page 3.

Just when I thought the hun couldn't stoop any lower - they come out and set new depths. Just a pack of bottom feeding parasites

Jennifer Hawkins ran on page 3 early this week.

They also ran an article on the pink tops that the ball boys/girls will be wearing for the Australian Open.

Puff pieces tend to run where deemed fit.

Grigga's manager also commented to the paper about it.

Media vendetta, the AFLPA and Carlton need to discuss the shared interests of the paper and the players URGENTLY.

Puff pieces tend to run where deemed fit eh DUC?

Geez that covers front to back of the small rag.

Murdoch has consistently dumbed down the calibre and quality of journalism in most if not all media he owns and this sort of garbage (on page 3 for chirstsakes!) is the harvest reaped from that policy.

I would imagine it has to do with the other person that works in the Sports Confidential section of the paper.

Please remember rule 3.3 about innuendo.

In the tabloid media, page 3 has long been the preserve of tits 'n arse and fluff pieces. You have to remember, the Herald Sun is owned by Rupert Murdoch, and thus shouldn't be thought of as a proper newspaper that reserves the first few pages for hard news.

It's a tabloid, in attitude as well as size. A pity, because the old Herald and Sun newspapers were definitely worthy of the title.

I'm sure this has something to do with it, but why? We got rid of the perpetrator who happened to be in the top 2 of best players at the club. Its becoming ridiculous.

And to those thinking it was put in as a puff piece for a laugh are deluding themselves, they put it in their to make reference to more drinking escapades. Nothing else but that. The fact they put it on page 3 and not actually in confidential backs that theory to the hilt.

The comments replying to this pathetic article are a laugh and a good reflection of the relevance of the piece

Here comes another "please explain" from the AFL.
How dare Carlton not tell them that one of their players got married in Vegas!
At least Juddy showed good leadership in making sure the marriage was annulled.
Honestly, What is wrong with the HUN?

..the easiest way to knock the Hun down a peg or two, is to ignore them.. ..run a half dozen 'big' stories with exclusivity to their major rival/s..

So who in the group was the 'one-man wolfpack'? And which one pulled his own tooth out?

Our Comms Manager should be on top of that. He's not on top of much though unfortunately.

As for the Herald-Sun...we need to sit down and have a chat very soon. This vendetta against the footy club has got way out of control and is becoming very, very damaging. Sponsors aren't going to go near us. Remember - 19 games on TV this year...sponsors should be knocking down the door. They're not...(although I expect some news in early Feb).

There is no Comms Manager.
If there is, I can't see any results, therefore he's not doing his job.

No doubt in my mind, we need a decent proactive Comms Manager.
