The only danger as I see it, is if the free agency eventuates in the very near future.
All the more reason to sign Bryce up asap for 2 years with an option.

If 18 possessions in his first final is his lowest point, then not a problem at all for a 20 year old.

That's what we're up against.

Not to mention an Adelaide that will be about to shed 3-4 vets and thereby create significant room.

Problem is, supporters can make all they "sign him up" calls they want - but don't you think the players themselves (and their managers) aren't acutely aware of both the two incoming teams and the upcoming TV rights deal?

Any self-interested player manager (ie, all of them) would be advising their clients to hold out for as long as possible before re-signing.

I wouldn't have a clue what Gibbsy wants to do, but I wouldn't necessarily assume that just because he hasn't been re-contracted yet, doesn't mean the club isn't very interested in doing so.

Perhaps instead of taking a pot shot on a forum, next game go over and introduce yourself and say hi.

I've spoken to Ross numerous times, and never once had he been rude nor have I ever heard him abuse players (be it Glenelg or Carlton)....
