Optus Oval was crap. the crowds there were crap too.
the club didn't give up much relocating. If it was a financial bonanza the club wouldn't be broke. It will gain far more then it has given up.

If 30,000 blues fans turned up every week to watch the club play home games at Optus Oval then it would be a finacial benefit. but they don't because people didn't like the ground.
Even against other Melbourne clubs the crowd was never 30,000.

Have some reliable sources suggesting that saturday may not have been the last match at PP and dont be surprised if a couple are scheduled there at the time of Cth Games and ! - so dont think redevelopment will occur until then
Carlton know that this may be the case but were happy to have build up and sell out the other week

I thought that Demetripoo was pretty clear that he was going to use the Commonwealth games period to play more games interstate to develop the brand. ie at the Gold Coast, Cairns darwin etc.

That said i would not be unhappy to see Princes Park used again.

I'll be very pissed off if CFC have deliberately deceived its members for a purely financial gain. It was the end of an era for me and a lot of other supporters that day and to think peoples emotions were used on a false pretence to collect a "healthy payday"...that would leave a very sour taste.
I want to trust my club.

Should I, shouldn't I, should I, shouldn't I....nah not worth it.

*Gets ready*
