Does anyone else find the voting system a bit odd??

I guess it could make for an interesting finish..

but I don't understand how in Round 3 only 5 players received votes when we only lost by 4 points? Were there really no players that didn't deserve at least 1 or 2 votes?? From someone?

It was a pretty disappointing loss to Essendon* DiS, but it does look a little odd.

I think someone needs to give them a little nudge it update the tally...

Five members of the Carlton Match Committee independently submit their votes after each round. Each may give votes to as many as eight players. The maximum votes a player may receive is ten (maximum of 50 votes per game).

Yeah, I understand the voting formula, I just don't understand the way in which it is sometimes applied.
