I would be pretty nervous if I was one of these boys.

Bentick is the only one with even the most remote chance of surviving.

Carazzo, Stevens and Scotland are not frontline midfielders.

But as opposed to the last 5 years, they no longer have to be.

Carazzo as a defensive mid/back pocket is a great great asset. They way he and Joseph worked Ablett over last friday showed that we're developing a culture of helping each other out and sacrificing own games.

Rapted to re-sign these two.

AJ is a gem and he will be a gun in years to come.
I am super impressed with carrots' field kicking this year. Goal kicking too. He has the occasional shocker but his delivery to teammates is pretty darn good atm. His passing to Fev is almost elite at times. Check out the 2-3 lace out passes he gave a hard leading Fev on Friday night. Says a lot about the guy's committment and work ethic that he was able to improve so much in this area

Does anyone know when Kruezer's contract expires? Most players sign on for 2 years initially (I know Murphy signed for 3), someone posted elsewhere that Kruezer also signed for 3 years, anyone able to confirm this?

Just thought I'd note, Ablett had 44 touches tonight. Makes AJ and Carrots tag team effort last week look even better.

I agree and it wasn't just last week. Since Carrot's has got back into the side, his inside 50's to Fev have been lace out the majority of the time, Fev hasn't even had to break stride!!

..agreed, not sure what he's done over pre-season but Carrots kicking has improved dramatically [as has Murphos].. ..his passing has been v.good, and his goal kicking accuracy is right up on previous years.. ..gotta be the acquisition of Harvs, i remember sayin' he would be perfect for teachings Carrots the art of the short pass to perfection..

i hope we promote lachie hill after this season. he looked great in the bullants side on the weekend.

from the rookie list who can be kept on that list, and who MUST be promoted or dropped/traded?

Joseph will be promoted (just signed 2 year deal), Jacobs has to be promoted or delisted, Garlett can stay on rookie list another year as can Stanton. Hill has been on 2 years so can be delisted and re-drafted for another year. I think Pfeiffer can stay on another year. NOt sure about the others.
