bet us what?

that people would be sooking and talkingcarlton would be a festering pit of negativity after a win?

no bookie would offer odds for that

its a dead set certainty

Well unlike you i wanna win a premiership. I wanna build a premiership side. I want the best people to help build this premiership

What i witnessed today (even though it was a win) and in previous weeks i can easily say we are no where near achieving that and its people like you who accept mediocre performances. IM NOT

This game is all about winning, we havent beaten them since 2000 FFS

Win at all costs, thats all, I dont care about the margin, just win

Out: Armfield, Bentley, Fisher, Anderson
In: Scotland, Stevens, O Hailpin, Austin

Any chance Bower will be back????

Joesph or Carrots.

JR

JR, Carrots or Grigg. Joseph is too small to handle the job; he'd just keep out-marking him.

I hope we don't go overboard with the tagging tactics...lets just take them on head to head and out play these flowers. They are crap...their recent form confirms this..despite our last two wins this is one win that would actually carry some meaning as they are one of those sides we have had major problems with. We need to start overcoming teams that have a psychological edge over us.

Well said. Our last 2 wins have been far from crash hot, todays was even less convincing than last week. We need to come out firing on all cylinders and put in a 4 quarter effort against the swans and make them pay for all the crap they have dished upon us since 2001. We're never going to have a better chance to beat them now, and we need to string 3 wins a row to help us get over our mental scars.....and I dont need to mention how important it is for our finals chances.

Am I right the last time we won 3 in a row was in 2004 when Fev destroyed Adelaide, Hawthorn and Richmond?

Win this, and the game against the filth will be HUGEEEEEEEEE

form means nothing as far as I am concerned. The Swans have a mental edge over us and it is just continuing from year to year.

No matter what team is selected, no matter where we play them, no matter how good or bad form we are in, They Always have the edge over us and beat us.

We always struggle to cope with their close and tight game, and i am afraid if Judd and Murphy are taken care of, We are History, Which is why we need to bring back some Class and experience- ie Scotland and Stevens  . Our kids will turn the ball over like Crazy if they came up against the annoying Swans.

Another Disturbing bad habit i noticed from the last couple of Weeks is the Refusal of the Running Midfielders to have a Shot on Goal when they are Clear and well inside 50.

I couldn't believe how dump Bentley was When he kicked the ball away from Goal trying to pin point a pass to Fev when he had an empty Goal and a shot from 45m.

The same thing happened again and again....We just love going sideways and trying to Spot Fev or Fisher at an impossible Angle to score from. GO Direct or have a Shot at Goal.

Was every match played by Carlton in 1995 "Premiership winning" form? Essendon* (or Carlton) in 2000? Brisbane in 2001? Sydney in 2005?

In particular with Sydney in 05, almost no-one gave them any chance of making the GF, let alone winning. The style of footy wasn't "Premiership footy".

You're really exposing yourself as an obsessed person with an overinflated sense of your own importance.

Sometimes you gotta win ugly.

If you can't see that we're progressing - baby steps, maybe, and sometimes it's 2 steps forward, one back - then maybe you should just disappear for a while.
