before the brisbane game all the media talk will be how we cant travel but this time we will prove em all wrong.

nah will be coming off a good Eagles win and the boys will leave thier hearts in Melbourne again. Would love to see a win but still think that Brisbane is about even with us in Melbourne and better than us (30 pts) in Brisbane ... but as always pray that I am wrong ... and there is just enough room for optimism that Brisbane will take us lightly too ... given our performances when traveling this year.

someone will make the 8 with 11 or even 10 wins (or 10 and a draw) and good percentage this year i reckon.

so many clubs are taking points of each other if that makes sense.

we are as good as brisbane, Essendon* and port and they are all a game ahead.

Except that Essendon* are also on 4-4. We're well ahead of them on percentage.

The way Essendon* are playing and the way Carlton are playing our good %%% is not going to last long.

Essendon* look fantastic and are a joy to watch.

Essendon* are direct.
They move the ball with purpose.
They play to their strengths.
Essendon* have a gameplan.
We have excuses.
Lots and lots of excuses.
Even the full forward became an excuse for why Ratts cant coach.
Seemed a good idea. Someone in the media ignited the theory.
Our MC went along with it because they had no answers.
You get a guy like Fev who should only be leading after you have worked out the space around him and created other oprions as well as routes to him.
He is a power forward
But instead you run him up and down the ground like a marathon man...till he is out of position and he is rooted.
We did the opposition coaches job for him..Thats what the opposition coach would want to be doing to Fev...

Laughable.

Moronic.

No idea...

Of course we will struggle to make the eight with a group of coaching Bozos at the helm.... :hitcomputer:

The eight is looking out of reach. We have some tough games ahead of us, the cats, the saints, lions in brisbane, freo in freo, Sydney in Sydney and the bombers who will destroy us.

but hey THEY KNOW WE'RE COMING

Is anyone else astounded that were still in the eight and are likely to stay there after this round is over?

I thought we are out if Sydney and Hawthorn win?

To win 2 out of the last 7 games and have no chance winning interstate means you shouldnt make the eight -means you are sadly out of form - cant win close games and arent in the best 50% of teams

If every second weak you lack intensity or lack mental hardness when it gets tough you shouldnt make the eight

Havent played best 2 teams in the competition yet either at 4/5 means you dont deserve to get into the 8

If we lose to West Coast even I will say season over with Brisbane and St Kilda to follow.

The close loses are really going to cost us, unless we can find some gonads and scrap a few wins away from home and against opposition who have the wood over us.

I still have us coming in 6th, but that inlcuded a loss to Adelaide and victory over WCE and losses to Brisbane and St Kilda in the next three weeks.

The only difference I have at the moment is Sydney not making it, which might need revisiting, and perhaps I have overestimated Port a little.

Trying to keep you on the straight and narrow. Wouldn't want to you to post something false and lose your credibility on the site.
