Hampson tap to Judd, Judd handball into space for Yarran to run into goal.

As an indication of what Fev means to our team, and how he can contribute when not kicking goals, watch the behind the goal footage of Waite’s 3rd goal. Fev peels off and is followed by 3 defenders, while Waite is followed by one man and turns into a corridor recently vacated by the Pies players following Fev.

Heath Scotland running back with the flight in the last - didnt get the mark, but dont underestimate the effect that seeing an effort like that has on the rest of the team. The game was well and truly over, but it instills a mentality of giving 110% to every contest.

I loved it early in the gmae when Lock Ear (i think it was him) jumped to get the ball, and Eddie jumped at the same time and took him in a tackle  Didn't give him the chance to shoot off a handball before he hit the ground  .

Heath Scotland was incredible with that piece of play (running 40 meters with the flight), even my Pies mate who came with me clapped that effort, for a pies supporter to clap anything by an opposition player or team must be warranted a Highlight!

Season defining Scotto, they need to show that in the rooms each week, because that took a serious amount of balls, and obviously shows that he is willing to do whatever it takes for the team,

Go Blues!

Yep gets my vote too. Nothing to be gained at the stage the game was at. Sheer courage.

There were many plays that I like including.....

Hammer's mark [he actually held the mark  ] and goal - absolutely beautiful kick.
Juddy's mark at the back of the pack.
Waite's 3rd goal - just a beautiful kick.
Scotto's attempted mark when the game was over.
Robbo's mark.
Robbo's steal off Shaw for a goal in the last.

Waite's first mark, the one hander.

Judd's shark and handball while being tackled to Yarran for goal

FEV's ruck tap to lightning Eddie to snap a goal, that one was an absolute cracker

The love shown for 'addsy' after that bump and goal in the last quarter.

He also stooges Brown when Krueser takes his mark and goal. Great coaching with the way we handled Fev and the big expectations put on him.

Smiles all round.

Also noted - he lead Brown under the footy for Kreuz to take an UM. Who'd of imagined Fev was capable of thought :smoking: .

This is exactly how we should be using Fev. We need to mix it up. If they're going to double/triple team him then he needs to take advantage of that to create space so the team benefits. Just as described in the examples above.

Keep the opposition honest.

... and the genuine surprise on his face when it went through - all the while Robbo was jumping around behind him. Reminded me a bit of these two:

Wouldn't want to burden Robbo with a nickname like "Chester" though.

Judd's handball to Yarran on the run after being tackled by 4 collingwood players.

This was a "nearly" moment.

Secondary ball-up in the centre square. Three players are basically lying on the ground, wrestling over the ball. Judd enters the scene, seems to survey this unseemly grappling, and just thinks to himself "jesus guys, why doesn't someone just get the fricking thing out?", calmly reaches into the writhing mass of players, keeps his feet, and plucks out the ball. Unfortunately, he was immediately wrapped up and another ballup ensued.

But if he managed to clear it, I think I would've cried tears of joy. This guy plays the game on a whole different level. The champions make it look so easy.

Mark Austins' shepherd for JUDD. Ran like a steamtrain and took out some nasty b&w player. Unfortunately the TV didn't capture it in its entirety, but it was a beeyooty.
