I think Browny should hope he gets suspended. In fact, he should get suspended and enter the Witness Protection Program to get away from DUC.

Some people need to take their Carlton hats off before they post - try look at it from Browny's point of view...I would have done the same thing...

that is 'be clumsy' / 'make contact to the little pissant who didn't come to my club under the father-son' and ensure that there'd be a bit of a push and shove - maybe some Carlton boys will go over the line - Ray Chamberlain is umpiring - we might get 4 goals in a row out of the goal square ...you just never know. Probably won't win the game - but I'm a bit frustrated and I might just stir the pot against these guys.

He knew what he was doing. Nothing in it. We won. It's all good.

as long as the MRP are consistent, Brown is injured anyway, struggled after half time with that finger problem

Why do you think Robert Copeland 'retired' - he knew he was going to get his next time we played them.

Plenty in it Doc, you just weren't looking closely enough at the dog act. And if he knew what he was doing, it made it intentional - 2 weeks.

However, am very pleased with how our boys remonstrated with the fat turd.

No doubt the AFL ad he was in made him believe that he is the best thing since sliced bread.

He sets a great leadership example for his team - let's all give him a clap

its not about carlton hats being on.

im a massive fan of browny, reckon he is one of the better player in the league, but

1. it was miles from the play
2. it was a bloke that was on the ground and couldnt defend himself
3. it was completly unecessary

if the AFL is serious about cleaning up the game, then he needs to have at least a weeks rest.

Nothing in it. He leant his knees on Murphy. Would've hurt like hell.

Exactly.

Look at it in comparison to Setanta's boot up the date on Cloke in the praccy.

Almost identical situation to the conditions above.

Yet Santy got 4 weeks.

I'd be disappointed if Brown doesn't get anything, just for consistency's sake.

and you are kidding yourself.

clumsy suggest it was an accident or not an intended action.

that was a deliberate and decisive action. he could have walked around him, stepped over him, hell, seeing as everyone thinks he is suck a great bloke, helped him up.

he didnt, he choose to drop the knees.

and it is that, that should see him go IMO

It's more about the contempt in the act than the act itself that's the problem. I don't know if it's reportable but it still a poor effort from Brown.

No-one's been done for being a knob before. Plenty could've been rubbed out on those grounds from all 16 clubs.

Not sure how it equals O'hAilpin slugging Cloke in the face and then kicking him. Redundant discussion.

pffft, nothing in it, he was just giving it to a star player from the opposition.

The dog act was the push on Waite when I was in mid-air as he nearly broke his neck.

I think it's worth a reprimand, intentional but low impact unnecessary contact to Murphy. The only reason it wouldn't is if they deem the contact too low to be reportable, but while I think it is a bit soft it was completely unnecessary and gutless and worth a reprimand

.. ..more of a rough nudge with his lower leg against Murphy as if to say "c'mon, get up".. ..will be very surprised if he gets any time for it..

Which is exactly what everyone despised about Setanta's kick.

Has to go, even if only for consistency.
