I'd love to see Banno come off the square at the first bounce and clean Cousins up.
That should shut the feral gits up for 10 minutes. :)

Leave that to Harts, will be a bigger scalp than Howat.

When we last played at the Rd 14 Centenary match:

Carlton: 17-16-118 def Richmond 12-16-88

The Tigers lead by 2 goals at half time and 1pt at 3/4 time but were overrun in the last.

We were without Judd, Walker and Bower whilst the Tigers were pretty much at full strength. On the other hand Richmond supporters may feel they blew their chances with Nathan Brown uncharacteristically missing many easy chances in the first half. Richo did his hamstring early in the last which didn't help their cause.

Round 1 2009 we will be without Stevo due to suspension (who was BOG in this match last year) however should be more than compensated with the return of Judd, Walker and Bower (pending injury). The Tigers will have Ben Cousins to bolster their lineup (pending injury).

In summary we should start slight favourites however expect a close match.

I reckon if Cousins and Judd plays, we will get 90k people at the 'G'.

The teams I most want to beat this season are:

St Kilda
Sydney
Geelong
Hawthorn

and of course, my favourites to beat:

Collingwood
Essendon*

I'm petrified of Rd 1. Last year, I seriously expected us to win against the Tigers. I was pretty hyped up as I was every year, but more so with Judd in the team. We then lost 3 in a row.

I so want us to get a good start to the year and not have to play catch up...

In hindsight we were no chance to win against the Tigers in round 1 last year and I could feel it on match day. We were so hyped re Judd that we were due for a massive let down.

The same will happen to Richmond. You should not be petrified of Round 1, we'll take them to the cleaners.

The key last year was having so many players going into the game underdone. Judd, Stevens, Hadley.

That wont happen this time.

We have Warnock now. He should make a bit of a difference.
Their rucks were good enough to kill us twice last year. Luckily our mids were on top in the second game as they were more used to playing under the 16th best ruck division in the league in terms of hitouts.
