Share a teary, beer soaked hug with Agro and the other esteemed members of TC, TBV and maybe some of BF and moon the Spew as he's walking out of the MCG, escorted by a phalanx of bodyguards- singing the beautiful "Lily of Laguna" for the upteenth time doing it! 8)

The morning of the 1995 Grand Final was the day I became a bluebagger for life, I wasn't really interested in football at the time but my sister convinced me to go for Carlton just to get under my older brothers skin who was a Geelong fan at the time (now a Freo supporter!! ). That is pretty much all I remember from that day, not the game itself.

So #17 will be the first Premiership I have experienced.

I only really started going to games on a regular basis from around 2001 and onwards, people have told me how hard it must have been being brought up as Carlton tragic in an era that was the worst in the clubs history. I can see why they would think that but it hasn't been difficult at all. I still went to the football week after week cheering my team on despite the odds. I watched many of our worst loses first hand. It's not a great thing to experience...But it's going to make #17 so much sweeter.

I am going to experience every moment of it possible & celebrate with many, many beers, hopefully a few shared with fellow TC'ers (yes I know I still owe you one Brad!).

Invite Demetriou round for a ------- party. It won't say on the invitation that he's to be the catcher, though.

The first thing I will be doing is sharing in the joy that this Premiership will bring to Agro Jnr and Ms Agro Jnr who were a bit too young to remember 95 - there will be a few tears I think, then the kids will start crying too.

Then the second thing I will be doing is making sure that the "Fat Bastard" doesnt get his greasy mits on the Premiership Cup - as its presented to Chris Judd.

Somewhere on the way home (which is probably going to be around Monday Morning) will involve a couple of laps around Windy Hill with a Carlton Flag out the window making sure that they know we got to 17 first. - and perhaps making a mark outside the Olympic Pool letting those turkeys know that even 15 is going to take them another 50 years.

Then possibly sometime during that week (very late at night) Tommi and I are going to walk up and down a certain Toorak Street (sans pants) singing Greek Songs over the wall of a certain residence.

Will be the first one for my kids, so I will be ensuring it will be a lasting memory for them. They don't understand the Carlton culture yet and I am hell bent on getting them accustomed to it asap. It's been too long.

I had thought about that but then I figured that his rage and moral indignation would be welling up inside him to such a degree during the game and as the siren went to signalling our victory and 17th Premiership that he would either self-imollate or suffer a massive stroke/coronary and do us all a favour.

Amen ! Although I'd leave room for a Glenelg tatt if they ever get there again and win one.

I'd wear my Carlton jumper non stop for months at every major shopping centre, public area in Adelaide.

The 95 flag still sits in my heart like yesterday, so I need a refresher !!

I will probably walk from the G to Princes Park. That was a great experience in 95, up Lygon St.

Tattoo is a definite.

Smuggling a bottle of champagne into the ground and spraying on the crowd when we win is a possibility.
