I visited the Carlton Merchandise shops yesterday, and it was hard to believe that they have run out of a lot of products which shouldn't have a shelf life, such as money boxes, DVD packs...kids stuff in general.

I understand why they would have run out of Saddo and Ackland badges and 2008 posters...but they haven't.

Well I purchased what I could for xmas pressies in multiples, but like most times I visit the Carlton shops throughout the year (year after year) I was very disappointed in the stock availability...and didn't spend the extra $1000's I could have.

Whoever is ultimately responsible for stock control/ ordering really lack merchandising / retailing skills, and as a result are missing out on thousands of dollars of potential revenue week in week out. Well that's how it's looked for me for years now.

Nevertheless, at least I got for myself half a dozen new stubby holders.
