Maybe that's the plan for next year.

err.. 'natives', as you call them, are just as capable of professionalism as anyone else, BKB.

..heh, didna mean natives to come across all 'brittania' there.. ..but if he's had post-season surgery [not sure, has he anyone?],, and he's gone back to darwin to visit family, i personally think it's ok for him to take it a bit easy training wise, so he can spend more time just being back with family/culture.. ..if part of that is eating certain foods that aren't conducive to staying trim, then he works double hard to get matchfit.. ..yer don't wanna push too hard, cos you'll lose morale.. ..it's off-season, players already have very little personal life as it is..

I loved the article.

Basically a one-thousand word piece on how strong the Carlton brand is in the AFL in 2009.

And best of all, every tap on the keyboard would've felt like bamboo shoots being jammed under her fingernails

Yes it would have been very hard for the bitch (projecting again :P ) to write this article - but she still managed to stick in the snide overtones and still managed to summarize 6 years of bile in her piece.

Particularly galling would be for her to write that even the AFL and Channel 7 realize how good we will be with our FTA coverage - whilst the Tigers bet squat.

Watch her take leave of absence when it comes time to right the 17th Carlton Premiership Piece.

De @#$%&! Her.

Wrong again KBH - Eddie isn't from Darwin.
