parrot you have to play people in form

Karl was ordinary in the twos last week and is not a CHB

Livo seemed to be out of sorts after starting reasonably - hopefully needs a couple of runs.

Digby played a beauty...

It's a shame Livo seems a bit rough around the edges. Our midfield had better lift becuase Neitz will kill us.

Feel for Clarke. He is more deserving of a game than Scotland ATM. Actually that list is probably a fair bit longer than just Clarke.

oh this is beyond a Joke..... what kind of improvments are we going to see frm those same Pretenders that cant win for u a footy match?

Denis has lost it.....looks like he wants some Quality Drafts for next year......when i compare the two teams, they look far better than us on paper.....

i am Sorry Denis but for as much a genious you are, your Selections are yet again miserably poor for any average footy fan to understand...

wiggins, sporn , Deluca & Mcgrath are all useless... they wont win any games for us.....

I wouldnt Gamble on this game at all... here is my Simple theory on it

" if Denis conceed the match before the ball is Bounced YET again, by playing Whitnall at CHF, then we are no chance on earth, But if he puts him forward, then there is every chance, he and fevola will fire... they have the chemistry to do it, which is why it makes me so upset to underatand the logic behind leaving Livingstone out when he is Fit and ready to go "

So if Denis starts Whitnall at CHF he's conceded, but if he's played forward he and Fev will fire??? ;)

Denis has the right intentions.

Good ins and outs.

The heat is certainly on some of those 'underperforming' players in the 22.

Lets not start to 'hallucinate' before the ball has even bounced people!

l don't think playing to get early draft picks is such a bad idea considering where we're at DODO27 even though l hate losing , ljust don't think it's Pagans theory  .

I expected Digby tyo be brought back into the team. Digby at least is capable of playing CHF or CHB and interchanging with Lance is one of them is getting beaten or if Dennis just wants to change the match ups.

DeLuca has been tried and failed down backand I agree he is lucky to keep his spot in the team. However he is one of the only real talls we have in the team who can play as a key position forward and relieve Barnaby in the ruck.

Prender has been tried and failed as a key position player and is really in the side as a run with player. He and Bannister are IMO probably fighting for the same spot. Bannister is more skilful and Prender did not produce last week.

Davies just seems to be at the cross roads. We have seen what he is capable of but he just doesn't seem to produce it on a regular basis. Both he and Johnson seemed to cough the ball up and fail to hit targets last week. Carrazzo adds to the backline and allows Dennis to get more run out of defence and use McGrath and Wiggo further up the field.

Just by the way it was Wiggo who started our second quarter comeback last week with a couple of runs through the centre and hitting the forwards on the chest.

Livo has missed a few weeks so perhaps they think he needs one more week in the ressies. Russell probably needs another pre-season in the gym. Dennis has shown he likes to bring the youngsters along slowly and has a record of achievement so I think I'll go with his judgement.

Sporn was dropped a week ago and has not been recalled.

So stop being an average footy fan, have a think about it and support the club's decisions.

agree with your assessment on wiggins - travesty of ablett kicking goals on him was he inevitably had to leave ablett to come to an unmarked geelong player streaming down the ground
Dont understand why he should be a target played better than 90 % of his team mates last week and if the other 90 % were as committed as him perhaps we would be more competitive

Well if that's the case, then that's sad, very sad. We are accepting mediocrity are we? I know he tries hard but he aint much chop..... although I have it on good authority that he is a superstar :D

I think De luca had to go this week. Poor decision to keep him in the team. Davies should have stayed in, he has talent. If he kicked straight the first few rounds he would have been set. This kid is being crucified.

People, people, RELAX!!

I know it's traditional to worry about the Thursday night changes and I used to love it when the changes mattered. BUT....

You must all take note of the Carlton REVOLVING DOOR POLICY

Because our lower tier players are all really excuses for AFL footballers, we make about three changes every week that make NO DIFFERENCE.

A sporn here, a Davies there. A bano here, a johnson there, a de luca here, a Morrel there, a prendo here, a mcgrath there. Big @#$%&! deal

I wish it made a difference but it doesn;t, so Dennis just swaps them with a revolving door to keep em hungry.

We can only win if our good players kill their opponents. Our fringe players are IRRELEVANT.

Can't happen this week which means he won't return for at least 2 more weeks.

That's how thin our ruck stocks are people. Deluca has to play because there's no-one else to ruck. Prendergast is useless as a ruckman.

If Everitt wasn't playing so well, French would be close to AA ruckman (in consideration with Dean Cox).

Well, Dodo, we saw how good we've been with Whitnall at CHF against the Tigers
