Grrrr Why is it we never seem to get scheduled to play Collingwood on a Saturday anymore?

I can just see Canberrans being shafted with TV coverage of the Sunday game AGAIN next season

A little nervous about two Friday night games after coming back from interstate...

But we've done well in the 'teams we play twice' area. None of the preliminary final teams!

At least the Gold Coast game against the Dockers is on FTA TV (Ten)

Based on the brief look we have a good draw IMO.

Bit pissed-off our Gold Coast game was taken from the MCG, instead of Docklands.

So that's:

6 home games at docklands
4 at the G
1 at Carrara

Beat me to the punch John.

Seems no matter who the admin is, they all feed us a certain level of shit.

Only thing is that our extra ticketed game might be at the MCG. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Can I put in a special request to beat St Kilda and Sydney next year please?

Looks a great draw. But the danger is that if we can't make the 8 with a draw like that in 09, we're in for a lot of shit.

Looking at that, in terms of wins:

Pessimistic: 9 wins

Optimistic: 19 wins

So there are around 10 games that from here I would say could go either way.

I think we'll probably be around the 14 win mark, which is basically halfway between those two predictions.

The new system means that we play the following teams for the first and only time:

North Melb : R18
Geelong: R19
Port Power: R20
Melbourne: R21

We could get off to a flying and I would pencil us in for 3 in a row at the start of next season

I'm going to be a bit pessimistic, and say we'll only win our first 15.

I reckon we should be aiming to hit the Dawks with 5 wins under our belt

Where does it say who the broadcaster is for each of the matches?

I think it's nice that the AFL has dedicated round 11 to the Clarke brothers.

That is a tremendous draw for us, on and off the field.

Some big Friday night teams... home games at the G against Essendon*, Richmond, Collingwood and Geelong... we can handle all the teams we play twice...Port and melbourne will be in full tank mode by the time we play them...

No excuses next year... :-D

Jeez I've just looked at that message and felt like Tommi
