He's clearly the best player to come from the 2005 draft......what more do they expect?
I can already think of a few previous no 1 picks he has already surpassed i.e. Johnstone, Headland, Fraser, Goddard and probably Deledio.

Cox is so overrated when it comes to his around the ground abilities. All cox does is float around the back half getting cheap kicks. Kreuz throws himself in at the ball and is a great mark up forward - he will be better than Dean Cox

I don't doubt that and am excited by the thought.

Im not saying we have to get Kerr and Kerr only. Our midfield lacks grunt and players like a Mitchell, Black, West and Kerr is what we are missing. Even a Brock Mclean who is hard at it, puts his head over it and takes the bumps and dishes them out.

At the moment we play our best footy when its free flowing and loose. The kangas smashed us, the lions skipped away when they went man on man, the swans got over the line cause they made it a contest.

We need a hard nut ball winner and then Juddy can really put the foot down and blow teams away.

nice stats ryan. having a great season, but the quality of disposal needs to be more consistant. his kicking in his first year was fantastic but its appeared to decrease.
09 is murphy's year :wink:

I get this feeling that in 1 or 2 years Marc Murphy will be a very similar player to what G.Ablett jr is now.

No chance. Gazzas very quick of the mark and has awesome evasive skills.

Murph has similar (on field) attributes to a Ben Cousins type. All he needs to work on is that gut busting running of course without the contribution of substances
