Reasonable yes, but we want him to show improvement i guess.
his obvious talent and some of the great things he has done and can do make us hard on him because he"s set a standard but he doesnt produce it enough

I think we all hoped he could become a great 2nd option to Fev as a goalscorer and create a potent forward line duo somewhat like Brown/Bradshaw but that isnt happening at the moment.

8 goals a game from Fev/Betts/Fisher and i think we are well on our way to winning.

Improvement would be nice but fisher is playing a different role this season up around the HF line due to the loss of kennedy/whitnall whereas fisher is much more suited to playing in the FP, or dare I say it FF. Whilst playing up the ground helps the team somewhat as fisher tends to provide a good/safe lead up option takes away one of his strengths - goal kicking, and exposes a weakness (kicking distance).

Personally I'd rejig the forward line a fair bit - push Fev out to CHF as he would have the capacity to lead up the ground whilst still being capable of kicking from outside 50 (not sure on his aerobic capacity though) and play fisher deep forward alongside waite. Both take good contested marks and are quite good at ground level in terms of crumbing off their own contests. With their long arms/leaps, you would likely to see a fair few backs infinging if we can get the ball in quickly (more so than fev who tends to lead up and outpace his opponents)

Fisher steady????????????

Fisher has been very dissapointing and is close to being dropped.....We desperately need someome to stand up to help Fev and I don't know why we dont persist with Edwards.....Hartlett should be sent to Germany as he may fill a key forward spot and is worth the punt......

Yes, it's a make or break year for Germany. If they could just top up with a key forward, they'll be threatening for the flag.

But who will they give us in return???

interesting excercise...

for what it's worth....

agree with others... fisher is a slider
unfortunately so is simpson...i'm not saying he's playing badly, it's just compared to his form last year, especially when he was captain, his form this year is not as good...

stevens has been good and sometimes very good, definately not a slider ...

Guys - take Fisher in context. He IS NOT a key position player yet we keep playing him there. He needs to be the no. 3 or 4 forward. He is TOO inconsistent for my liking.

So is Simpson - he DOESN'T do enough when he hasn't got the ball but, we all know that he isn't alone!

We are a young team BUT........

Murphy - way too slow. I never knew he was THAT slow.
Gibbs - needs to do more
Carrazzo - piss him off! Is WAY TOO SLOW and not a good decision maker
Wiggins - how does he continue to get a game?????
Edwards/Hartnett - play these guys. We will never know if they are up to it unless you play them!
Russell - are you kidding me? This guy was taken at No. 9 (Yes - No. 9)!!!

I'm sure that there are others on the list - we need to be ruthless or we will stay in the bottom half for ever!!!!
