Reasonable yes, but we want him to show improvement i guess.
his obvious talent and some of the great things he has done and can do make us hard on him because he"s set a standard but he doesnt produce it enough
I think we all hoped he could become a great 2nd option to Fev as a goalscorer and create a potent forward line duo somewhat like Brown/Bradshaw but that isnt happening at the moment.
8 goals a game from Fev/Betts/Fisher and i think we are well on our way to winning.
Improvement would be nice but fisher is playing a different role this season up around the HF line due to the loss of kennedy/whitnall whereas fisher is much more suited to playing in the FP, or dare I say it FF. Whilst playing up the ground helps the team somewhat as fisher tends to provide a good/safe lead up option takes away one of his strengths - goal kicking, and exposes a weakness (kicking distance).
Personally I'd rejig the forward line a fair bit - push Fev out to CHF as he would have the capacity to lead up the ground whilst still being capable of kicking from outside 50 (not sure on his aerobic capacity though) and play fisher deep forward alongside waite. Both take good contested marks and are quite good at ground level in terms of crumbing off their own contests. With their long arms/leaps, you would likely to see a fair few backs infinging if we can get the ball in quickly (more so than fev who tends to lead up and outpace his opponents)
