I would be happy with 8 wins.

Funny thing is, most of us would agree with 8-10 wins for the rest of the year, but watch what happens when we lose a game. Too many people will come on here and whinge! We are 5 years off, recruitment has been terrible, Ratten can't coach etc

Who the flower are you to say Ratten can't coach? Do you have any credentials to actually make a claim like this? What evidence is there to say he can't?

Did you actually read SA's post? :? :?

hehe oops. My bad
Don't I feel like a dill.
Very sorry SA. I'll just go back to the corner

No worries. :)

Our run home is really tough. Here's what I reckon might transpire, either probable win, probable loss, or 50/50 (and I'm trying to be as objective as I can)...

Geelong - L (too good)
Port (a) - L (too hard away, while still in finals mix)
Collingwood - L (hitting some form, will be out for revenge)
Essendon* - W (struggling)
Richmond - W (although danger game, their 100 year celebration game)
St Kilda - 50/50 (struggling, but have had the wood on us. MCG might get us over the line)
Sydney (h) - L (altough we've got close a couple times at the Dome recently, so maybe an upset possible? If Hall was still out, maybe 50/50)
Bulldogs - L (too good)
Adelaide (a) - L (too good, and away)
Port (h) - 50/50 (hopefully out of finals contention by then, and at home)
North- L (too good)
Brisbane (a) - L (too good, and away)
Hawthorn - L (too good)

That leaves us with 6 wins, with 2 possibles. Say 7 wins. Maybe we pinch another, that would make 8. Can't see us doing any better than that.

Could be a very disappointing end to the season if we're not careful.

Siegfried, my thoughts on your thoughts.

Geelong - L (too good) Agreed
Port (a) - L (too hard away, while still in finals mix) We have confidence after Subi
Collingwood - L (hitting some form, will be out for revenge) They're our bitch
Essendon* - W (struggling) :-D
Richmond - W (although danger game, their 100 year celebration game) Only Richo will play his guts out in that game and we will want to make amends
St Kilda - 50/50 (struggling, but have had the wood on us. MCG might get us over the line) The natural order of things has been restored - refer to the ladder.
Sydney (h) - L (altough we've got close a couple times at the Dome recently, so maybe an upset possible? If Hall was still out, maybe 50/50) They shit me no end this team - WE HAVE TO BEAT THEM.
Bulldogs - L (too good) Not so sure - they are travelling well but I expect the wheels to fall off soon
Adelaide (a) - L (too good, and away)
Port (h) - 50/50 (hopefully out of finals contention by then, and at home) :?:
North- L (too good) Will be primed for them :-D
Brisbane (a) - L (too good, and away) They are starting to shit meHawthorn - L (too good) I want them crushed into the ground and then stomped on for good measure

Ok often young teams who are improving like ours have great second halves of the season. Not saying it will happen, but I think it's hard to predict how much we will or will not have improved in a couple of months time, especially getting players back from injury (walker). On top of that, many sides who have great first halves of the season fall off the rails a bit in the latter stages. We have a chance in more games than most people think we do.

The rest of the season will be very interesting
