Yes, it was a good 'performance'.

Only used the phrase 'Moving Forward' once which was nice.

The thing I found most impressive was the he always had a quick answer to every question. Even if they weren't always completely satisfying ie Warnock, O'hAilpin(s) he didn't look like a rabbit in the headlights...

When asked about Warnock he simply said CFC are interested in all players out of contract. He never said Carlton is going after Warnock.

So Warnock is not part of all uncontracted players?

We are interested in Warnock but not going after him? I find that somewhat confusing.

If we want to play with words we must be interested in Peverill and Johnston from Essendon* .... I think they are out of contract and they are part of ALL uncontracted players.

I think you are getting bogged down in technicalities.

I know you are incorrect. If you read the post it is C man that is playing with words. I just decided to point out how I can play with words too.

I didnt think his reason for Ackland in the team was a good one, if he stands by his reason shouldnt he play him again this week against Sandilands???

Why Warnock??? another maybe good tall on our list, just what we need.

Why not Mundy??? we need another forward quickly to help Fev dont we?

We also need another midfielder ASAP, bentic, JR and Carrots dont cut it for me.

Ackland hasn't been dropped yet so he may well play again until Cloke is ready to come back

Charman is a more agressive ruckman than Sandilands, Hampson may come in this week to counter Sandilands with his leap.

But surely his reason is his reason? He said they were worried about Kreuzer and Hammer against Charman. Is he playing ducks and drakes? Ummm.... no. He provided an answer to the question. Sandilands is a different player altogether. Taller, but less physical. Who knows? That maybe provides a much better match-up in the eys of the MC for Hammer.

And the part about Warnock is why the initial comment on this site was so misleading. Ratts said we are looking at all uncontracted players. I bet that includes Warnock, but it probably includes Mundy and whoever else you might like to name. Healy was the one asking about Warnock, and so he was the one that Ratten responded to the question on. Personally I'm pretty glad that Ratten doesn't go on the counch and alert the whole league to exactly who we might or might not be looking at.

Sounds very happy with how Fevs goin. Said we'll probably offer him a minimum of 2 years but you never know

Also said we're goin after Robert Warnock

Why would you say that when Ratten didn't say that at all.

When asked about Warnock he simply said CFC are interested in all players out of contract. He never said Carlton is going after Warnock.

Regards Cazzesman

Sorry that was a bit ambiguous. He kind of said it just didn't say the words.

Geez I thought he did pretty well. Maybe I'm comparing to Hervey last week which was like talking to a nervous 5 year old. The one thing about Ratts is everything he says sounds genuine and honest. He seems pretty open and casual, i rekon it's great
