that's admirable

Its still part of his backended contract (just don't tell the speww)

As long as we declare it to the AFL, Greg's work as a property developer could come in handy.

We might have to clear this with this Jeff Dunne before we can proceed.

Diesel is as efficient with his words as his hands and will be a great teacher for our young players.

great to have him back at the club....murph & gibbs can certainly learn a couple of things off diesel in terms of determination, attitude and being focussed.

Whether or not Diesel is able to impart wisdom on his own freakish abilities (which I personally think cannot be taught) to our boys, hopefully his presence will teach them to be ruthless and determined, which still is something that fades in and out of games.

What a great headline. It has a double meaning as diesel can ignite things, but also because Judd drives a hybrid car and hates petrol and diesel, therefore meaning that diesel would 'ignite' his anger.

I am sure I read a story somewhere about his first training session at Carlton after coming over from the swans, diesel was in a pack and someone (Glascott I think) was running past and diesel fired out a handball and hit him in the head. Afterwards he called the guy over and said "You know when you don't think I can see you, well, I can"!

..says he's been there already for some time helpin' the lads, which makes sense especially in Murph's case, as he's definately gotten 'that edge' about him now..

Great article! Diesel is one of the all-time greats of AFL footy and I don't think he would have come down to the club if it wasn't for Ratten. I think a lot of credit has to go to him.

Diesel will be an extraordinary teacher and put some mongrel into some of these pretty boys! Outstanding catch for our club especially the midfield group.

I actually got excited about the photo of diesel and the ruckman.

If there is one non-ruckman who you would want talking to a ruck group I reckon diesel would be the man. He would be giving the boys a A++ midfielders point of view of where they need to put the ball to give their rovers the best service possible.

Its great seeing the older players taking such an active role in the resergence of this football club :)

Absolutely made my day this article!!!

I agree that there are some things you can't teach. I was never sure that Diesel would make a great coach, even though he was such a darn great footballer, as i beliebed he wasn't the best communicator. He led by example.

There's definitely things that he can pass down though, which can only be learnt through years of experience, not to mention hearing things from a genius's perspective is always privileged information.

This will no doubt be very very beneficial to us.

It is true, our midfield will indeed improve under his guidance.

Diesel carries very positive and strong footbal vibes - his influence will soon be seen on field among our young players.

Wonderful to see him playing a part.

...and now that Diesel has been around for a few weeks, the Diesel strategies are finally sinking in.

We creamed the Freo midfield when they had a dominant ruckman.

What has Diesel got instal for the powerful mids of the Cats?

Heaps!!!!

In Diesel I have faith....he's the mentor and the inspiration.

I bet our midfield is walking on water at present.

Lets skin a Cat!!!!
