We will equal are record losing streak if we lose to Essendon*. And you have the lefty elitist Jarusa here claiming we are on our way to making the finals.

It's called reality. If follow the sequence, you'll notice I do see us IMPROVING. By 2010, Murphy will be a stronger 22yo, Gibbs 21, Setanta 27 etc. Stronger bodies, less passengers and finally making sense of Rattens's game plan if he's still there. Go the Bloods......oops, I meant the Blues

I was pessimistic for each of the last two seasons (thought we would be bottom four each year) and I was even a tanker during the second half of last year.

But I am really optimistic about this season and happy to say so and no sad sacks are going to change that.

I believe that We need to wait until Round 11 for the team to kick off to another Gear and start Winning some games in a Row. Mid Year, Judd will be fully fit, so will Stevens & bearing Injuries & with the Return of Walker, we will come good.

As far as making the 8, i think its beyond us this year, however this is how i think the team will fare against other sides.


1- Geelong, St.Kilda, Hawthorn & West Coast : Those teams will belt us heavily ( 40 +)

I see a great positive from last week. In the past The Saints would have continued on and beat us by 80 points. but We showed real improvement by fighting back and keeping the Margin to 40


2- Adelaide, Collingwood & Sydney : These teams used to beat us regulary by 40+ points. This year we will lose to them by a margin of 20+ points


3- Fremantle, Brisbane, Port, Essendon*, North, Melbourne & the Bulldogs


Those teams, we will have a good chance of beating this year.


Overall, i am expecting 7-10 Wins for the year which will put us in 9-12th Position on the Ladder.

Provided we win 4 games this year, we will win the flag in 2011!!!
