No doubt this is bullshit, but one question I have is: Why does anyone believe what Brian Waldron says? Sure, his involvement at the Storm puts him a good possy to see our boys in training, but let's not forget this is the same guy who went on SEN accusing of tanking and cheating, only to backflip after admitting to doing the same himself when running the aints. He'd love nothing more than to get our hopes up only to laugh heartily as they get dashed.

I was under the impression that BW said he trained well and not that he was a chance to not play.

it's probably just some hedge fund traders who are a bit bored with their Corporate shorting, so they've put some rumours in the market to bolster the blues odds a bit. They probably bought the tigers early in the week at $2.40 and now will look to offload at around $2.00 on the incoming tide.....that is if you could actually on sell your footy betting positions......but some rumours you just have to wonder.....

Thought the same thing this morning.

Waldron suggested that most definitely Carlton tanked as did Collingwood /Melbourne several years ago.

Not one mention from this hypocrite of the Saints nor his comments and backflip last year when he initially agreed that they had tanked.

Interestingly his tune changed pretty quickily at the time from one of "tanking" to we were never good enough!

Credibility here is ZERO!

Well - the rains are coming...from where I sit - we're in for a few showers tonight at some stage...could work both ways with the Tigers maybe going too tall (remember Hughes and Pattison are very slow)...but if Stevo ain't 100% and it's going to be greasy - they might just err on the side of caution and rest him for this week.

An hour to go in the office and then I'm off to Transport for a couple of quick pots and off to the 'G...

GO BLUES!!

C'mon, don't blame Melvey...He hasn't claimed the news as his own. Just reporting something that hasn't come from "a source", but from the bookmakers.

Let's all take a deep breath and just enjoy the game.

Are you able to check with your "Sources" Mrs Caz if this is true? :)

Nup...my source is working at his paying job. I'm going to have to wait till I get to the game like everyone else.

I put him in my Super Coach team too.

Yeah thats what i read. Brian Waldron was SEN this morning and he said Stevo trained yesterday and trained well.

And Brian works at Storm, which is based at Princes Park.

The defence rests.

SEN = Flowering morons = trying to drum up talkback when all have gone quiet in anticipation of the game.
They're only reporting what the the bookmaker, Michael Eskander, told them. It was the bookmaker that heard the rumour and hence brought Richmond's odds right in.

I think it's safe to say, everyone has left TC to go to the game - see ya.
