I could not believe it, I Rang them today only to find out that my Card hasnt even been processed and nothing has been done.


The Guy on the Phone asked me for proof of Purchase, and i told him that i had paid in full ( Cash) at the practice game 3 weeks a go, but i wasnt given any reciete, just an application form confirmation.

After half an hour of arguing, he finally agreed to Send me the Card Express Delivery, which should arrive tomorrow.


I wonder how many Applications are just sitting there in the back office without anything being done to it

To those that have been wondering about the Carlton Gold Memberships this season... The printing company that I work for produced the Carlton plastic cards two seasons ago (2006) and it was a rather huge and complex job - but IF planned correctly would work well.

Last year (2007) the cards were produced by another company - I also think this was due to poor colour quality and consistency when we produced the cards. Several barcodes were printed incorrectly in 2007 resulting in this company losing the contract to print the Carlton plastic cards.

The club has gone through a new company this year to produce the cards as far as I am aware. Several weeks ago I also had issues with my gold membership and my brother rang the club as I was to go into a new "family ticket" with my brother and his two daughters.

Eventually it was sorted out and we are all sitting together this year - however my brother did not speak with Jeremy - he ended up speaking to a female employee who was actually the Membership Manager. My advice to those that are having trouble - ask to be put through to another person at Carlton who can answer your questions...
