Is Jamo allowed to play this year or what? Cos I heard that his groin was sitched into Judd's (by a reputable Vet) and now only one of them can play at a time.

Read a quick little article in the Herald Sun that mentioned, that because the Blues don't have any players on the veterans list, they are able to nominate 2 rookies that can play for the seniors and will be paid any agreed amount.

Will they be getting financially short-changed by virtually being 'primary list players' playing most games while being on rookie wages? :?

Firstly it says he will be the best paid rookie in the AFL

He is not being short changed, he is being given a wonderful opportunity.
A rookie on another teams list would have all the same commitments, but may have no opportunity to get a senior game and earn senior match payments because he is not a nominated rookie.

Base wage for a rookie is not much less than that for a late round draft selection in their respective first 2 years.
It is match payments that are paid on top of this and will generate more than double his base salary if he is a regular.

Can a nominated rookie be traded to another club?

Jamison shouldn't be in the rookies list at the first place. He is in our best 22.

Near enough isn't good enough.

Jamo should be on the primary list.

Ok .....you know better than Swann and Icke who decided he will stay on the rookie and play senior football as a nominated rookie, in the best interests of team.

If he was promoted we we would have missed out on either Armfield or Pfieffer, but had an extra rookie spot.

Perhaps we could've come to an arrangement with Saddo and the Bullants to free up a spot for Jamo on the primary list.

If Jamo is set to play most games for Carlton he should be on the primary list.

It doesn't matter if he is on the Primary list or Rookie List, the fact is he will play seniors from Round 1 to Round 23.

So we could pick a player in the Pre season draft. Ratten said as much on 2AY yesterday, your 3AW.

As I said before, perhaps Saddo could've made way for Jamo??
