I mentioned in my OP that Jim's classifications made me chuckle but I didn't explain why. It was becuase I think he was suggesting that this site has a very narrow group of posters and yet that is not my experience.

OK so I'm the only housewife who's voted so far 8) but I don't feel alone on this site :-D . Perhaps we don't have many kids on here as it's not a family friendly site but all your responses have shown that regardless we have a variety of posters on TC. Image

I'm a female supporter who goes to every Melbourne game & at least 1 interstate game a year. I have a supercoach team, watch every AFL game every week, drinks beer at the footy with the boys & I go to training when it fits in with my working hours.

i am a supporter who goes to every game he can, young dad with no family in Melbourne so sometimes bit hard with the bub. If i can't get to the game will definately clear my schedule to watch on tv. Love the dreamteams. i check the Carlton, talkingcarlton, afl.com, realfooty and heraldsun footy websites at least 3 times a day to see if there have been updates, 90% of conversations with colleagues is based on our respective teams.
