IF the players want him, and vote for him, I would be very very surprised if he didn't take it.

But maybe they have someone else in mind?

Last year there were calls to make Murphy captain. A noble gesture for a young star on the rise, but really, we all knew he was not ready for such an indoctrination.

If Judd was at our club last year, do you think there would have been any suggestions to make Murphy captain?

Judd will be captain of the Carlton Football Club in 2008. Make no mistake. :-D
