Hammer limped off with a leg injury on Monday.
Lets hope it was only a minor ankle roll or similar as our ruck stocks are brittle at present.

Bugger!

hey DOA, just wondering is this an new injury? or has his old one flared back up again?

was the option of getting this fixed earlier on the table and he just rolled the dice a bit, or was it just plain bad luck.

all the best with the recovery andrew, you're a favourte of mine mate.
love the way you go about it.

That's a shame about Walker. I'd like to think that in all cases if a good playe is 50/50 with an injury late in a nothing year, that he will take the op. But you never know...

Can't say I am devastated about Ackland. Hopefully he has a delayed start to the year and never catches up. I think Cloke and Hampson can handle the ruck, with help from Aisake and Kreuzer. I just hope they don't throw Setanta in there, he needs to stay at FB for the year.

Get well soon Walks!

They players are having a couple of weeks off for christmas anyway so he'll only miss a week or so of training.

He will still be in top nick for RD 1

Ackland = an opportunity for Azaiki and Hampson to share the workload, thus fastracking their development....

Thanks DOA for sharing the inside info with us TC’ers. Best wishes to Andrew for a speedy recovery. It’s great to hear your comment about how committed he is to the team. Having experienced some tough times will make our future success all that much sweeter for AW and the great crop of young Blues.

... and to those who keep posting derogatory stuff about Sugar, I would respect your comments if you have pulled on the Navy blue jumper and played at the highest level. Do we have to keep bagging our own?

DOA, do you know if Andy will get a shot in the midfield this year? I'm hoping he'll get a few games in there personally.

26 i would have thought

I was only hoping for 25 - surely we won't lose the first final :-D

Sucks that AW is out for 2 months. Hope he has a good recovery :)

Same to Ackland.

excellent post, who knows, under Ratten he might hit his straps and contribute more to the team. What is gained by bagging him 24/7??

Damn ...
But good luck to both!

DOA, thanks and pass on good wishes....EVERYONE wants to see Walks tearing it up and probably no-one more than Andy himself!
Better to get things right! Just ignore those who think that players and club would try and do the wrong thing and hopefully sneak under the radar. (Just doesn't work that way!)

Very disappointing to read of pre-season injuries. :x

The guys obviously train extremely hard these days in the off-season but it's still frustrating as a supporter to see players going down with injury at this time of year. No doubt its 10x more frustrating for the players.

Best wishes to all of them in recovery.

JUDD! :-D

And you obviously have the same problem off it. Sydney Blue...hmmm...so how many Bullants games did you attend? I'd say he's very much a Marther given his temper, and with more and more training will no exactly how to read the play. His speed and agility, kicking, and hand-passing is not a problem whatsoever. I look forward to him proving you wrong.

As for Walks, he's a outright champion. He's a born leader on the field and the training track!

Get that bloody shoulder fixed Walks. Get better!
