I would have thought Murph would have been a good choice, but I believe that it would be better for the younhg guys to just concentrate on their footy at the moment.

Stevens (C)
Judd (VC)
Simpson (VC)
Waite
Carrazzo - Always speaks very intelligently and great roll model
Houlihan - Great Talent, maybe more responsibility will help him blossom.

I'd rather our players learn to keep their feet.

I'd be going

Simpson - Did more in his handfull of games as Captain than Lance did all year.
Murphy - A given really.
Stevens - He wants it bad, i kinda like that
Judd - Maybe he doesn't want to be captain but his guidance for the young kids MUST be utilised.
Setanta - Love his passion.

That;s just my opinion anyway.

This is one subject where TC posters are generally off the mark.

Understandable. Unless you see and deal with players at first hand you cannot properly gauge their leadership qualities. You may think you can pick the 'leaders' from the stands but you cannot.

The consistent vote for Waite is the one that brings a wry smile to my face.

I'd rather our players learn to keep their feet.

Leadership is not about how you play, but about how you apply yourself.
I don't think that there is a player on our list who has applied himself more than Carrazzo.

Hey Steve, if you read the quote above carefully you will notice that what GWS did there was what people in the industry call a 'joke'.

Kept his feet OK when John Nicholls put that medal around his neck.

GWS, are we taking about our current B&F winner (top 10 2005 too) who is a "gut runner", role model and bleeds Navy Blue?

Gimme a break.
