Yeah, Colin Delutis was in the frame a few years to succeed John Elliott,
but things didn't go quite as expected. (can't help bad luck Jack).
Colin Delutis may be a good fit,as would Mr.NAB, but another name that springs to mind is Daniel Grollo.

Delutis labelling the members white ants probably wasn't a smart political move either, with or without his association with Elliott.

From one of his very close friends/associates...Dick's stated it's added years to his life, and in his current health he'd wish to continue as he's absolutely loving it! The person I spoke to said he's SO enthusiastic about it, and sees it as one of his greatest challenges 8)

Without being a wanker and saying "I was there", I was there when he said that and, god bless my ability to carry a grudge, still don't think too much of him from that night (that I was there).

I don't like his name much either - too easy to slur

Yeah, see there's just no slurring Dick Pratt's name, is there? Nice strong name, that one.

Pratt is a huge fan of DeLutis and he would have backed him last year if DeLutis could have managed the ticket in time.... believe it...!!

I was also there that night, and while I know nothing of Delutis and his skills in general, he was unimpressive to say the least that night.

Colin DeLutis or Anthony Pratt....

Who would be a better choice?

I suppose what i really meant was if Anthony is a fine buisnessman in his own right, or has he had a pillow to ride on??

Yes thats what i was saying in my previous post on this issue. It seems like he is really enjoying the challenge of turning the club around and ensuring it has a sustainable future. He should stay for a while longer. I mean Reagan was still President well into his seventies as was Nelson Mandela.

Yeah Anthony Pratt is based in the US.

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 64,00.html

ANTHONY Pratt has promised to invest $US1 billion ($A1.13 billion) over 10 years in recycling initiatives at his US-based Pratt Industries to tackle global warming as well as boost his bottom line.
