If you think it's all just going to happen because we will have so many high draft picks you're kidding yourself. A lot of hard work will still be necessary.

Was it so hard to come up with an intelligent response?

This should be the last time anyone remotely following or involved within the club should every discuss or WANT to accept mediocrity for PICKS!!!
Monday the 3rd of September is the new 100 year era for the CFC.
Correct the steering wheel now "Pratt Pack".

Thank god it's over, is all I can say. I've felt pretty crap the last few weeks hoping we would lose.

Here's to a new start in 08. Things are looking are shaping up on so many fronts. A couple more high picks, total support for the coach, new facilities, and a high profile pre-season signing no doubt. So much to look forward to.

Good work Don. Stick to your guns and never let anyone tell you your wrong for wanting your team to win no matter what. If getting Kreuzer makes us all feel better about our crap season then thats great. We'll need so much more than this teenager to the turn the club around. I'm so glad this is all over. In all honesty though, if we get to Round 18 next year and only have 4 wins, are Gav and the others going to be calling for us to lose the last 4 games of the year to get another pick 1?

of course they will, but the more important question is are they going to call for the tank from around round 8-9 onwards if we are travelling badly?

I just hate the thought of another late pick being the best new player going around or someone like Gill of Adelaide showing that when you are over the age of 19 you can still play footy

Exactly, this year's results roll over to next year.

However, you'd have to hope that with a coach who's actually prepared to teach his players something and additional resources on the development front (along with better facilities as the year progresses), the improvement will be accelerated somewhat.

You really need to ask that question? :P
