Searches in vain for the vomitemoticon

Still, we face Pavlich and Brown and Gehrig and Franklin every week or so ....which is difficult enough to stomach

if fev is traded then its 2x top 10 picks. i personally don't think it's worth it unless its a straight swap with judd.

I can understand why people would want to trade him, and reckon it's a tough call. If he carried himself like today in every game, it would not be an issue.

The difference between Fev and a Lance is that Fev wears his heart on his sleeve, and gets caught up with the frustrations... Fev was way out of form along with most of his teammates just prior to Pagan getting the sack..

I tell ya.. I love the Big Fev! he is a star and in a settled team that is GOING somewhere, he will put in a lot more performances like the one he did yesterday..

Just about the best game i've seen him play since the Essendon* game earlier this year and if his kicking boots were anything like back then, he coul've ended up with 8 or 9...

He may just win the Coleman medal this year but time will tell, and Jonno Brown will be hard to beat.. Yes, he has had his cringe worthy moments and the fremantle game was a debacle, but tell me.. Have you not seen similar efforts like those from Cain Ackland, Saddington (V Hawks), Whitnalls weight issues and Thornton and Scotland failing to keep their emotions in check lambasting their teammates on the field..

Fev's only human, and some of the things he does which frustrate us, are ll part of the Fevola package and i still believe people make too much out of it.. He is a genuine star, has real passion for the game and this club, is a feirce competitor and hates losing!!

We must keep this guy!! I'll be spewin and pretty shattered if we got rid of him and i don't think we will.. Him and the team ae going places, Ratts looks the right choice as a coach, Fev's playing again with passion and real purpose, as are the team...

Just have a look at some of the performances of our kids getting proper game time and backing from the coach.. Jamison and Jackson were terrific and Bower and Grigg will continue to improve..

We must keep Fevola.. And lets see how the champ is doing in 2 or 3 years when our side is really prospering and pushing deep into the finals..

I dont care what anyone says.. The guy gets a raw deal from too many people because he shows raw human emotion.. These players train week after week and year after year in the hope of improvement, both individually and as a group. I think what Fevhas shown in the past is a lot of what us supporters would show... Sheer frustration and dissappointment in the group effort. Frustration with LOSING!!

I know personally when i've played sport I've found it hard to contain my frustrations at times.. The guy needs to be given a break and we should all get right behind him.. I'd much rather have a bloke like fev who shows real emotion than a Cain Ackland whose body language suggests he doesnt give a shit..

The difference is Fev does!

He did play well yesterday, and I'm not sure whether his leading was any better than usual or if Ratten has coached the team to give the forwards a bit of space to lead into. That would be a novel concept wouldn't it.

Yeah well said, Camelboy it would be novel. To have a decent structure up forward must be so much more satisfying for the forwards.

For the last two weeks Fev has had the opportunity of occasionally being one- on - one with his direct opponent rather than being double teamed (or triple teamed) as in the previous games. No wonder he was getting frustrated.

Any forward would be frustrated with that type of gameplan (or rather lack of).
Ratts has been a breath of fresh air and Fev is getting back to his best footy -- and looking like he is enjoying the game again.
