I reckon after dancing with his sister and after the Sydney match it will be announced on the 17th July 2007 @ 10:30am. This will come after some gossip hits the media such as the Footy classified show.

However, he will continue to coach for the reminder of the year

My birthday! Seems appropriate.

Sorry to everyone that wants him out as of now but we are all going to have to wait so we can lose our last 8 and get the priority pick.

PRECISELY

Sack him now, new coach, we win, no priority pick, not good!

There would be some irony in that. He was presented as Carlton coach on September 11, 2002.

Tuesday after Grand Final day at 11.00 am, UNLESS we get beaten by 100 points again - then he will 'retire' stating lack of support from the club or some other nonsense

When is this bloody PP business gonna end? I hate em. It seems like every year we wanna tank.

2005 - TANK, Get Marc Murphy & Josh Kennedy
2006 - TANK, Get Bryce Gibbs.
2007 - TANK, Get whoever......................

I'll be stuffed if i'm gonna support that despite how tempting it might be.

Who's hot favourite for the draft in 2008???? Should we just send a letter to our supporters now saying NOT to expect a win till 2009? or 2010?

Why don't we just draft well???????????????????

Sure, Kruzer is looking like a dead set #1, but that doesn't mean that every kid after him will be a dud?

There are plenty of teams out there who have drafted very well with the picks they have WITHOUT the need for tanking. They just draft well with the picks they have.....................It's called recruitment!

Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to Shitcan any of you guys who are all for tanking, i do kinda understand where your coming from. I'm not trying to say anybody's opinion is wrong or right.

I'm just sick of loosing.

If i had a choice of :

a) keep pagan, don't win another game, get picks #1, #3 & #18.

or

b) sack the bastard now, hopefully install Ratten as interm coach, go all out and see just how much talent with really have WITHIN our own walls and try and win some games. I'd be aiming for half! Collingwood, Essendon*, Melbourne & Brisbane!

I'd take b)

..exactly, and i concur 110%.. ..we won't know how much damage we're subjecting our potential young guns to with all these losses.. ..will they wanna stay through this all, and then more years of development/improving or move to a club that's already doing well.. ..then, there's the whole salary cap issue.. ..too many afl elite, can we keep them all anyways come contracts time..?.. ..do we trade/delist our own young players cos we haven't seen their potential, to see them thrive elsewhere..?.. ..i reckon we need to put our faith in our staff and start improving now, don't wait for tomorrow cos tomorrow never comes..
