I'd love a combination of Ratts, Voss, (either 1 for senior, but favour Ratts) Sos, Bradleys, Deano with Daniher/Dempsey to stay as specialists.

I get the feeling however that Ratts & Voss will be competing for the same position and hence one will not play 2nd fiddle to the other.

The thought of co-coaches has crossed my mind also.

But which coaches would actually entertain the idea? :?

Other than that, I'd vote for blueman. I feel he'd be a brilliant tactician on match-day; anticipating opposition moves left, right and centre.

I would like some new development coaches. They have done wonders for the young players at Collingwood

Look its all uninformed speculation. We haven't spoken to any of these people or heard what they have to say. I have confidence that Pratt, Swann and Icke will make the right decision.

One of Voss, Mckenna or Ratts for mine

Totally agree mate, two full time development coaches at the filth while half of our assistant coaches are part-timers.

What about including Daniher too? I reckon he's worth considering.

I knew I'd hear this today. Great idea. Let's try a guy who coached 10 years without success.

So what you're really saying is...

Vote #1: MAKE VOSS THE BOSS
Vote #2: MAKE SOS THE BOSS

Third would probably be SOS. He has big wraps

 From where?????!!!!!! Everything I hear is that he is just about the worst communicator around. According to one Bulldogs backman who worked closely with SOS, as a coach, the difference between SOS and every other coach out there is that SOS is in the team of the century.

I couldn't agree more!

If the question was "When DP is no longer coach of the CFC, who would you prefer to become coach?

or....

"Assuming all prospective candidates were available for 2008, who would you prefer to coach CFC"

Just for the record, I am in the Pago Pago camp, but IMHO I believe that it is a given that he will be replaced sooner rather than later. On that basis: 1. Ratts, 2. Vossy, 3. SOS, 4. McKenna & 5. Braddles. :P

New option added for you. ;)

Tanks Humpy! :P

It wasn't me who voted for Den Den. I already picked Ratts. I can't believe that so far, people on here would rather Buckley over Ratten. Go figure?

Like Den Den?!

Seriously - anyone who has coached the Ds hasn't had any success since [insert date of Ds' last flag] .. Den den has now many flags in how long? And how many spoons? How many spoons has Daniher won?!

Here's one from far left.
Pratt appoints Leigh Mathews as the Director Of Coaching. Under his wing, Michael Voss is the senior coach and Brett Ratten is the coach of the newly formed Reserves team.
Matthews and Voss perform their magic again........this time at PP

That's probably not the C word the Lions would use.

Interesting that votes for Ratten went up against Buckley after this point was made? Suspect or coincidence? Perhaps minds are more impressionable than first thought?

Conspiracy Theory, Sean? My understanding is that a member can only vote once. Unless a certain humped back gentleman from Canberra can throw some light on people voting more than once, it was simply those who hadn't voted saw the logic in our own Ratts over Eddies bum boy!

What am I saying...Logic on here...Pfft :P
