I sent a letter to Ian Collins requesting a refund because they sold Social Club seating to the general public.

I got a response from the General Manager Operatons stating that because the seats weren't used they decided to sell them.

The fact that these seats were already sold, regardless of whether they were occupied or not escapes them. I doubt this crappy treatment would apply to any other class of seating.

The fact that I got into a dispute with another spectator who felt he had more right to my seat than me is also okay.

Why do I get the feeling that Essendon* members wouldn't be treated with such contempt

They definitely did not apologize. I sent a copy of the letter to Carlton and THEY apologized, even though it wasn't their fault. The letter from Telstra Dome was just full of excuses. It just made me more pissed off, I definitely will not let it rest.

WE are quite with in your rights to ask for a refund in my opinion We have already paid for that seat in our membership

an apology in my opinion is not acceptable as the telstra dome is double dipping and its not fair to any captains club member who has paid 600 bucks for their memberships which includes seating for when they turn up at the game...

I would be very much annoyed myself if i turned up to that game in question ready to watch the blues to find out my seat has been sold to someone else just so they could get capacity crowd in

and not one carlton captains club member should be happy about this and shouldnt let it slide specially if your seat was affected and the public got priority over your seat which you have paid for well in advance for that priveledge and specially if you attended that game

I do not find it acceptable at all for Ian Collins nor the Genral Maneger of operations for the telstra dome and not to apologise nor refund our money for the loss of seat for that game or the games that they have also sold on captain clubs members as our members where force to stand or sit in the general public while someone else enjoyed our seat as well as the telstra dome double dipping.

Telstra dome SHAME SHAME SHAME

it is not right to double dip and its not right for telstra dome to sell your seat to another person

we members should feel comfortable in turning up half way through a game knowing our seat should be vacant regardless if telstra dome needs more seating compacity

we are fools if we just accept telstra domes descion

september gurl good on ya for not letting it rest at that it your hard earned dollars that gave you that privelage of that seat and why should someone else have ya seat

cheers
oz
