Agree Frank, and if the players are switched on and setting up properly there is always a role for a crumber.

And looking to the future, Lappin only has a limited lifetime, and we do not currently have another like him.

There is still a spot in the team for eddie but when he comes back I still hope our delivery into the forward line is not just to Fev. Fisher has improved his kicking dramatically over the years, and if Waite can do the same, we will have a very powerful foward line.

Good point.....goalkicking small forwards who can take a mark are key components of most forward lines now and we dont have anyone on the list who can replace Lappin.
Eddie is more of the genuine crumber ...not sure if the genuine crumber is being replaced by the Corey Jones/Shannon Grant/Didak type who has the extra marking ability....
