One Premiership (apart from 1990) in 49 years is pathetic really isn't it?

Eddie McEverywhere and Gary Pert and 400? Pubs and the leading Victorian Membership......unlimited exposure on the Footy Show and The Luxurious Lexus Centre.....where does it end?

Oh yeah........................................once again......losers.

It's just so sweet when they win a few games early in the season and get delusions of grandeur.....and can't help preening like peacocks but......in the end........................................................................... they're only magpies.

It will not make any difference how big the club becomes or how many material 'improvements' are made to the club.

The sad fact is that Collingwood fails to understand that they are trapped within a spiritual prison.

They are caught in a permanent state of oscillation between hell and purgatory.

From purgatory, one can see, but never reach paradise - but the mindset of the inhabitants of this realm is that they can.

Sadly though, this is a delusion.

Nirvana always appears to be tantalisingly close from the no mans land of purgatory, but every time the hand reaches up - Nirvana moves a litle further from its reach - never to be siezed.

This is a permanent and very frustrating state of being.

Those that have this delusory mental state are usually incapable of understanding that it a state which has been chosen by them.

For others, self actualisation is a linear thought process, but for Collingwood, it is circular.

This makes it very difficult to transcend.

Collingwood's whinging is a symptom of their condition.

They know that they cannot actualise and transcend - so they relase their frustrations by complaining.

Eddie, Mick and the whole team would do well to shave their heads, dress in orange robes and go to Tibet to hear the wisdom of the Dalai Lama.

This would make an ideal end of Season Trip.

I am sure it would help them come to terms with their ultimate destiny.

I am also sure that the Dali Lama would welcome them.
