Synbad,

I hope you are right and Bower comes on in leaps and bounds like Simpson did but I have watched the last few Bullants games and I did not think he had earned a place in the seniors. I'm just not too sure what his best position is and if we can afford to carry senior and young players that are out of form. He is a mercurial player but IMO consistency is his problem during a quarter and through a game.

amazon.. in my opinion Bower has all the tools to make it but needs faith to be shown to him....
Same with Hartlett...

A new coach who instills belief is vital for these kids...

Remember what Teague said about Pagan in his last year at North???.. all the kids were glad to see the back of him because he made them feel like they were treading on eggshells.
Now Pagan extended Teagues career... but thats not the point..

4 players are going to be on the beanch at any 1 time.

when the majority of your list is made up of young players it is inevitable that the young players will spend time on the bench.

Well yes, perhaps that is right, but not the SAME young players. Check out how much time Kennedy has spent on the bench for example. Or how much time the typical 1st gamer gets on ground. If he is worth being selected when we are after player and team development, then he is worth being played.

Also a factor of our non - existent rotation of midfielders. At the end of the third quarter last week we had primarily big men as our "fresh legs"

IIRC, interchanges where them 75 , us 51.......This has always been my problem with Pago, he is the worst user of the bench ever.

He always lets the midfielders run themselves into the ground while not rotating them then uses the excuse that we ran out of legs.

Does get tedious after a while.

QFT, with Denis at the helm kids get 50% game time until they step up and then they're fast-tracked to playing 95-100% of games. It just means we always have a small part of the team which is being asked to give too much and others who waste away on the pine.
