Not happy with Fev on this one :x .

it was stupid and reckless , but I think he'll get off. The initial contact was with the shoulder and slipped up and grazed his head.

Sadly I think he might just get a week as well - incidental or not his elbow made contact with Stenglein's head and the ball had left the area... suspension or not disappointing that he periodically llows his frustration to spill out! Perhaps this illustrates the lack of leadership we often get criticised about. Probably the best player on our list as it stands and capable of absolute brilliance but lets himself down. I find it harder and harder to defend him to mates who barrack for other clubs who claim he'll never be amongst the super elite of the comp due to a lack of discipline....

If he gets suspended for that pissweak hit then AFL football will have officially become a game for fairies.

We all see nothing in it so Fev will probably get 2 weeks. It a mystery how the panel works.

More interested if Beau Waters gets done for charging Lappin in the last qrt where Lappin got crunched. Waters made no attempt to spoil and arms were down and jumped straight into Lappin.

The AFL loves Carlton
He will get 4 weeks lol

aka Greg Williams 11 weeks for touching an umpire. Later on other players touched a umpire and barely nothing comes from it :)

Fev facing suspension for attempted striking - possibly 1-2 weeks.

Headland off scott-free for actually striking.

Yeah - I can see that. Makes sense! And they say our game is becoming like netball. Netball certainly has more contact than Fev's "attempt". Our game is becoming like Soccer if you ask me!

On the basis that he didn't actually touch his head and that his elbow slipped up with the movement, I would be seriously gobsmacked if he got pinged for anything.

It was like Fev was trying to strike but totally missed it at the last second.

Has Waters got form for that sort of gutless bump on Lappin?

Didn't he clean up someone else similarly?

If Fev gets done for that, that game is flowered.

Been downgraded from Striking to Rough Play. I don't think he has any carry over points, so he might not get any time if he pleads guilty. I hope! :?

He ll probably get 1 week as it was what they like to term 'reckless play', or 'attempted striking'.

That just smacks of them altering the charge so they ensure that they can slap a penalty on him, whether it be a week on the sidelines or carryover points.

Yep, they can't get him for striking as there was no strike. If they weren't planning on rubbing him out the charge would have been thrown out. Looks like he's gone now. :?

It was obvious to me that he pulled out of what could have been 'good night Steglein'...I'm sure common sense did prevail...he didn't go through with anything.

How they get rough play from that???????I'll be [REDACTED]!

Headland 2 reports for hitting = 0, and Fev being Carlton, and because the AFL don't like Carlton nor have they got a record for fairness towards Carlton...well that does worry me.

We should not be in a position whereby because of the fact we are Carlton, we feel intimidated by the AFL bodies and its representatives, who have a history of bullying the Blues.

The AFL Commission are bullies!!
