It's two seperate issues.
There's not one person here (I'd hope) that doesn't feel for the innocent victims, the kids.
It's the pressure that was brought upon the situation with Lance taking on one of the highest profiled positions in our community.
From CFC's view point they don't need this attention.
Id've thought Lance would've been keen to keep out of the public glare as much as possible to deal with his situation.
Like it or not, AFL captains' lives are very public.
Lance had/has a choice.
Yeah but you are hardly a voice of objectivity on the matter. You just don't like Lance, or at least don't want him in the side, which is fine, but cut this anti-Lance rubbish. It brought unwanted publicity on the club, yes; but Lance has apparently been cleared of any wrongdoing. It is not Lance's fault that several other family members of his appear somewhat unstable.

Settle down fella..
From a CFC persective, I don't think Lance is the right person to be Captain for a whole bunch of reasons previously stated in other posts re Lance.
From a fellow human beings perspective, I hope Lance realises that family is the most important thing in life and seeks to patch things up with Shane & whoever else he has problems with.
Perhaps stepping out of the limelight and retiring at seasons end might free up some time for him to mend some bridges.
I'm sure he'd have no problem picking up a nice quiet little assistant coaches job somewhere next year.
I want the best outcome for CFC and I want the best outcome for the Whitnall family. Two very different issues.
