So you'd replace with...surely not Teague?

How do you reckon Wiggins would've gone if he had been give four full quarters?

Agreed.

I get the point of view of the above + Jarusa + Synbad type posts, but it doesn't take into account what is actually involved in being part of a 22 man team.

Whilst you lot magnify the individual's role in isolation, it is rarely quite that simple. Oftentimes only 1 or 2 good things are worth much more than the average punter would ever realise, despite how "expert" the average punter considers themselves to be.

Mate, you just want another priority pick hence you like Wiggo. For every good thing he may do he does 5 poor things.

Wiggo was average I thought. His kicking is horrendous and it will cost us games, but his toughness could also help win some. If you look at the Brisbane NAB game and today he does the same stupid things.

The most cringeworthy moment today was in the third he took a great mark on the defensive flank then proceeded to kick it lace out to the opposition uncontested.

That will cost us games against better sides.

Great committment and all but decision making and disposal is a real concern.
Should make way for Blackwell next week

The team has grown beyond wiggo proportions (thank goodness).

That nutjob for us is Wiggo.

If you can name the last captain of an AFL team to be dropped go for it. Otherwise it is Wiggins by a mile. Might not be fair but it is reality.

If we are a bottom 4 team, then Wiggins is in best 22.

His disposal is poor, decision making even worse. Teague has courage but can't play, same with Wiggins. Tries really hard and to be commended, but not up to AFL standard.

Lappin was worse than Wiggo IMO.

Er, 15 touches and 14 turnovers?

Fair call, but the upside for Lappin is still far greater at this stage.

But having said that if Lappin's form continues to be poor I would love to see Grigg in there given a go.

Wiggo is useful and needs games under the belt...
Lance on the other hand... HUGE mistake....

Just call me Joe the Cameraman....

I reckon Wiggo supplies an intangible quality that Lappin doesn't.

The kids walk taller when Wiggo is out there I reckon. His fight for the loose ball when it hits the ground is brilliant - and all anyone ever sees is the turnovers.
