Funny that, I swear there's a thread on here somewhere that was started the moment we picked up Cloke - and the majority of posters were bitching and moaning about Cloke, how hopeless he was, and how stupid it was that we picked him up...

Now, a few games and some positive performances by the boy and suddenly everyones swinging around and backing him...

Funny that.

That would be several degrees of piss-funny!

I didnt want him here and i was pissed off when we drafted him but if he continues to play the way he is playing im a fan.
He has something we lack.... GRUT!
And he is doing alot of hard work in the trenches. Something alot of our other bigger bodied blokes dont do.

Kennedy is another who works hard and provides some grunt.

If that happens we might as well start singing "We are the ugly Blues"

As long as he doesn't do what the majority of discarded players from other clubs do and thats have a good first year and BOG's against his previous club and then fall away in the 2nd year confirming why he was discarded in the first place.

cloke will give us what bryan couldn't ... intensity and grunt (as sinners said). anything else is a bonus really ...

my collingwood mates are of the same opinion as mandy ... that cameron can play a bit. they were disappointed to see him moved on and reckon that his chronic shoulder problems were behind the delisting.

i must say i never really rated him, but am rapt to see him doing OK.

I Like the boy, though he hasnt been a standout, has some balls about him. He looks good in the jumper as well. A tick for me

Is having a crack and doing a little more than I expected, but it's only been two games so far.

As I mentioned somewhere else, I'll reassess my opinion of him at Round 11.

Wait and see.

Many have had a great first few games for a new club. Very few follow on with 100+ games.

Hope he is a Rice, Madden or a Hickmott but too early to tell.

What I was writing befor I submitted previous post was that Cloke and Kennedy haven't prov

Kennedy has shown it in the Bullanta, but imo he's been a bit timid so fay in the seniors to me, and Cloke hasn't shown more to me ...(other than expectaion and commitment that he should have) ... the "grunt" I expect from Catrlton seniors atm....I expect both to go in harder ;FFS, they are 195 cm and 198 cm tall with weight to go with it,

Jonathon Brown at the same agae showed more than Kennedy (at 19), and more than Cloke (at 23).

So don't get your hopes up crew!!

Hartlett , Jamieson, Jacobs, Hamson may prove to be worth more while in the long run by playing them (in in lieu of Cloke and Kennedy) in 2007. It's just a hunch.

I don't want to fall for the McKernans and Teagues that won our B&F's in their first 20 games for the club. ever again, even if that means ... not with Kennedy and nor Cloke.

Everyone should be fighting for a position for Carlton's first 22, especially in the year we can't win a Flag. If there's better than pick #4 in Kennedy at CHF (or one of the top 22) , if so....we'll so be it...a(nd may that applies to every position on the field.}

I want all our seniors to have at least 40 games experience by 2009, But I wouldn't want that as the ony criterian iwhen selecting our best 22 for our nrxt flag.

Hanpson, Grigg wil be blauchedb onn Mondat?!? !?
IMO Hamson, Hartlett, Jamieson, Jaobs...will overtake thos types in the yearb we compete for our 17th Flag (whether that is 2008,9 or 10).

I mean Leuenberger wont be at Carlton before 2009, and Kruezner hasn't been snapped up yet..

To be fair Jonathan Brown walked straight into an extremely strong Brisbane side and won his first flag at 19.

JK and Cloke are walking in to a wooden spoon side.

Apples and oranges.

I'm still looking at it like this, Collingwood are now crying out for mature body KP forwards without Tarrant and yet they let Cameron go, why?

Good luck to the kid but I'm sceptical, for now, still, maybe.

No Brains was the answer i got from my Collingwood supporting cousin when i asked about him......

I think he has shown a few smarts so far, and at his age there is plenty of room for improvement.
