Speaking of Newman, our champions don't spend their 300th games in a dressing gown.

not to mention our all time leading goalkicker, Stephen Kernahan loves the club and took charge in our hour of need...Geelongs all time leading goal kicker instead gets himself into bad situations*, piss and moan about not being in the Hall Of Fame until public pressure places him in there, and gives absolutely nothing back to the sport that made him the superstar he is.

in the end, we are carlton...'F' The rest!!!

He grabbed his shorts alright.....he'd been doing it all day; and the Umpire caught him just at the right time......I think it was Jack Irving?

Geelongs list of achievements may be short...its hardly THAT short...Mick Mansfield was a great player and his time at the blues was during the dark ages, not through bad playing of his own...i thought he was handy enough at the club...i sure did love him.

Get yourself a copy of the 1995 Grand Final DVD and have a good long look, his work in escorting Brad Pearce to the football was superb.

Michael Mansfield had no business being at Carlton, NO BUSINESS.

seems like my love for Micky Mansfield is a lonesome one so i have another reason we're better than Geelong...

Simon Wiggins touched Peter Riccardi's after the siren shot at goal a few years ago while standing the mark...thats why we're better!

9. Greg Williams wasn't good enough to play for the Blues until he'd got some experience elsewhere
10. Most of their good players are Father-Son to accommodate theiir constant in-breeding.

kkk,
Cliff Stewart was a teacher of mine.
Fantastic guy and never bragged about his footy prowess, can you fill me in a little?
Regards Pedro

Cliff was an extremely slight wingman who kept his head over the ball, much to his chagrin I imagine, and continually got it knocked off.

I was only fairly young at the time, it was a VERY long time ago, but I hated Des Tuddenham who seemed to make a point of belting Cliff every time we played Collingwood.

If you ever get to see the video/DVD "Violent Saturday" Cliff is the innocent in Carlton jumper 39 getting belted every few minutes.

Your'e right KKK. Des Tuddenham only ever hit poor Cliffy because Cliff was so slight but if my memory serves me correctly, Big Nick fixed Tuddy up one day as a reprisal and Cliff was a bit safer. In those days, players who had skill but not size often became the punching bags for people like Tuddenham, Sheedy, Balme and co. Those players would be suspended out of the game today and the Cliff Stewarts of the world would be the Aaron Daveys of today.
