Might give us a chance to get to know the ground before our match against the Roos later in the year....

Personally, I was hoping NM would get up, only on the basis that Freo would trounce us given their current form .. but having said that, if it was us playing them today, we would have done the same thing as NM, given the final score ..

So Carrara, here we come, eh?!

You can count me, and possibly Mrs terg, in that shitload .. just need some details ....

I'm sorry .. I'm an eternal pessimist .. Then when I'm wrong, I will be pleasantly surprised. But I am hopeful of being wrong!

OK - you got me: I remember the guys on SEN last night, after the passage involving 3MM and 4BG "Murphy to Gibbs .. you'll be calling that for the next sixty years, KB" which brought a smile to this pessimistic face ...

Just as importantly, though, there are several missing words -

SPORN .. CHAMBERS .. PRENDERGAST ... as well as McGrath, Davies, Livingston, Bryan ....

Still pessimistic though .. there's one other word: PAGAN .. coach for life FFS ...

Playing the Roos will be a great barometer of where we are at. The Roos have been training an extra 6 weeks on us and play a fast running, tough style of game.

I'm looking forward to the game more than if it was in WA.

Regards Cazzesman

Damn shame to see the shockers lose!
I hate the shockers MORE than I hate Collingwood. (well, as much maybe?)

Kennedy was awesome last night.
His leading and contesting/marks was great to watch.
Almost caused movement - no wood, just movement!

Good point, Cazzesman.

They'll go in to the game as favourites, but I reckon we'll be in with a huge show.

I do worry about how much of an impact the last two games will have on our mob, particularly the younger boys. Two hard fought victories as opposed to two cruisey wins.

It'll be tough, but I reckon we can beat them.

We have to use the ball a lot better than what we have been doing so far, especailly when delivering to our forwards.
Whitnal and Fev will take plenting of marks, but with Kennedy stepping up as well, we now have to negate another problem - flooding.

whitnal and Fev together in our forward line have always attracted a flood, but last night's flood from Hawthorn would have made Noah shit himself.

and converting would be an option, too! No show-boating, Fevs, and some time spent by Kouta with the goal coach will improve our options!
