I have heard that he went into the game with the cheekbone injury.

If that's the case he shouldn't have played imo. :x

Maybe he should have taken his case to the Tribunal and gone for a 2 week suspension. :P

Actually this would have been smarter, as he'd have less residual points

We might be in some real strife now unfortunately...

We're effectively not going to have our first choice centre-half back and full-back playing together it seems until the second half of the season. Yes injuries are part of footy but we're a side that needs all our players playing to win consistently.

Campo we can at least replace somewhat, gives someone like Simpson or Walker a go. We simply can't replace key position defenders and this is going to be a tough period for us.

Ahh well we not havin much luck at moment with key players out

I am more bothered by the loss to Livo than to Campo as i think we have more depth to cover our Midfield than backline

Also i do want to see what a full game of Simpson or a debut of Russell or a full game of Walker a an on baller.

Maybe this can be a positive for us

We play next 2 interstate matches which i guess we where not expecting to win i certainly had pencilled in us being 3-0 and then 3-2 after Port and Freo but we are 1-2 and looking at 1-4 after Port and freo so maybe we are now forced to give some guys a proper chance and we can find out who can stand up and may find and uncover someone

people i want to see play
Simpson given a decent run
bentik
Russell

hartlet but another potential option for KP back
Bryan
T LO
Chambers - only seen him in th wizzer cup

We need to see what these guys can offer

That news on Livo is bad, hopefully he comes back 100% in six weeks and can have at least half a season injury free.

Perhaps he was too lazy to go to the doctor.

Gee, we haven't had much luck the last few days....Livo, Campo, Collo, and Scotland (most likely).

It just provides other players with opportunities to show their wares.

Really deflating to supporters, though.

For those who have seen the Blue Ants recently do you think Russell Jordan is ready for AFL? If he isnt ready then I think play Simpson and give him a decent run in the midfield.

oh well mail is Chambers should be right to go..
therefore-
Out- Campo, Scotland, Sporn
In- Chambers, Simpson, Walker

Need to keep playing Johnson to get the hard ball for us with Heath out.

The comment 'Need to keep playing Johnson to get the hard ball for us with Heath out.' says all you need to know! The onlyhard balls Scotland gets are eyeballs on last week's form.

That being said, given the loss of 2 experienced midfielders, Johnno will be kept - PJ!!! Your boy!!! Plus, opposition coaches now know that if they keep Kouta out of the game (Cochrane to take him?), we have no back-up clearance player. Johnson will get another chance to perform I think.

I'd say Cochrane would take Stevo - you'd think he'd be the only player they'd be tagging.

Nothing about Campo though.

Forget about debating which players to dump. We need a new doctor.
